Still a decent camera when it's not broken but.. easily breaks
UPDATE: The ribbon cable seems extremely easy to break, I reinforced it on both the camera side and where it connects to the PCB yet it still broke again. Now it's 2 months after my return window and I'm not getting a response from the seller. If there were separate camera/cables for sale at a resonable price this might work but needing to buy a $50 camera every 2 months is out of the question.ORIGINAL:In all, even though this is advertised as 1080p and it isn't, I'd buy this camera again in a heartbeat. It functions very well, and provides a nice crisp picture. In the image attached this camera is used for the top right hand corner video feed. If you look very closely at the other 2 vertical video feeds you can see this camera is attached to the claw.Pros: Great picture for what it is. I had no issues connecting this to my own wireless network. You first connect to the SSID broadcast by the device where you can then navigate to the camera via a webpage where you can configure the camera. There is also an app but i've had it crash multiple times while trying to configure the device. The app also claims to give you a 1920x1080 resolution image but it's just upscaling the 1280x720 picture. There are 3 RTSP streams available to connect to if you check out my answer in the answers section. The device can be powered directly from a 5V source plugged into the battery connector rather than a batter if you need long term power like I did. I just took a 5v USB charger and lopped off the end and spliced in the proper connector and it has worked great for 12+ hours in my testing.Cons: Not 1920x1080 as described, all web interface configurations only display 1280x720 and the RTSP stream maxes at that same resolution. The app for interacting with the camera crashes often but the web interface seems solid so that's a non-issue for me.The ribbon cable is very fragile, i put a small strip of gaffers tap from the ribbon to the camera and from the ribbon to the device just to add a bit of strain relief at the connections.

Good cam for mounting into another stable device.
I bought 2 just in case. One I took on a run but I think the air humidity broke it, as I cannot get any video feed from it anymore and it doesn't seem to charge the battery. Also the signal receiver popped off very easily (no way to fix that I know of). This product is definitely designed for integrating into some other device, not a standalone, as the wires are very fragile and flimsy and there is no way to mount it in any way (no clips, no sticky, etc.). You would have to super glue it or mount it in some creative way to something more stable. As a nanny cam it would work just fine if you want to hide it on a picture frame or something (taping it on or something).Video is nice and clear and stable, but not good for a body cam. You would need to mount it on your head to get any kind of stable feed.Cables are a little too short for clipping onto your pant pocket and attaching to collar of your shirt (not recommended) as the cables are too sensitive to getting snagged and broken. (plus feed on your body is too floppy and unstable - would have to mount to pair of glasses or onto your head somehow).Audio is ok.

COULD be nice if it wasn't for some major flaws
COULD be nice if it wasn't for some major flaws. First it is recording in 720p only. Yes, I know how to change the resolution. Yes, it is without a doubt set to 1080p. Second the manual is terrible. For instance... To set it up to record onto the SD card the manual says to go to the advance config and use settings in the "sd card setup." There are no instructions beyond this point but it's pretty easy to figure out right? Wrong! My options for recording to SD card are: 1. Close (disable I guess as it doesn't record to SD???) 2. Alarm (Assuming motion detection) 3. All day (works when power is turned on) 4. Time (set times to record). And that's it for SD card. Perhaps and option for when I press the record button should be listed!?!!!! That's right. There is NO WAY to record to SD when the record button is pressed on your phone! Also, the button on the camera itself does nothing at all. The video goes to your phone every time. So I thing to myself that I'll just set it to all day and use the on/off switch to start/stop recording. Nope! Turning the camera off while recording corrupts the file so the "all day" function is useless. So if your not bothered by the false 1080p advertising and you want all your files saved to your phone it's okay. Not great mind you. Just okay.

Amazing service. Great camera.
Camera works amazing, when used as directed. This is not a camera for dim, to no lighting. Controls are really simple. Best mini WiFi camera I’ve used so far.The best part yet- the customer service. Very quick and very responsive. My camera was defective (no fault to the company) and they walked me through very easy to follow step-by-step instructions on troubleshooting the camera. After I detailed out where the hiccup is, it was determined this was a faulty camera. No biggie. They are sending a replacement, no charge.Other companies should model their customer service after them.

Just OK
The camera works okay but is much too flimsy to last any length of time with continuous use. It is only good for positioning in one place and left there, Also, the instructions are very cryptic (detail / grammar), and I can't imagine someone who is not tech savvy understanding them.

Great camera surveillance
It's a good camera if you need it for home surveillance, if you take it on the go for say hooking it up to your RC car or plane then know the battery is about 2 hours not 5 hours like the seller says. I've tested the battery a couple times and it's about 2 hours. 4 stars for misleading battery life but good for home surveillance and ease of use.

Wires are too fragile to be functional
The wires are too sensitive for this to be functional. I've been thru 4 of them. Handled with the tenderness of a bomb squad leader and the skill of a surgeon...They work for about a day. Then you get a purple screen. I seriously want my money back for the last two.
