Works great
Works pretty much like your expect.Fits great in the Terra machine. Just buy one of the old style tubes, swap the head and harvest a valve from the bottle. The only hiccup is that the recess in the valve side of the adapter has a small counterbore that causes the O-ring not to seal (the bottles don't have the same recess. It's not bad, but it will produce a bubble every couple seconds.I threw some blue loctite 242 (which is safe for contact with food gasses) on all my thread joints and it seems to have resolved the leaks.... Now to find a hose that doesn't leak!

Works Perfectly
The only way to go. I refuse to buy tiny $30 Cylinders. As a previous review stated, a little blue loctite 242 fixed a small leak on the threads.

No longer the only or best option
This fix is no longer the best one for this job. There is now an adapter that goes from the quick connect on the end of your hose to the Terra soda stream. It's all one piece so no worries about connecting pieces and the leaks that come with doing that. Find it here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09Z26BPW5?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details (I have absolutely no connection to the people/company making this. I just like bubbly water and found a fix I like so am sharing it).Sadly, connection the different pieces to the ends of this adapter always introduced leaks. No matter how much plumbers tape and breute strength I used with my wrenches, I could never get rid of all the leaks. The product I linked to above is working perfectly.

Updated review
After some fiddling and A LOT of Teflon tape I got this to work. I had to wrap it like 6x with Teflon which seems excessive but it's been working well since. Makes a weird noise when I activate CO2 but that could just be a normal sound idk. No more leaks at least.

Great little piece of engineering/machining
Thanks for helping us stick it to the corporations. Adapter works great with my 10# co2 tank. Unlimited carbonation!

Masterpiece
I am glad someone put out the work and effort to create something like this. Believe me, I am work on cars for over 30 years and also have done construction plumbing and stuff. pretty much well aware of what is going on. I live in southern California a pretty industrial place. I went to 4 different places to find something that fits the M18x1.5 and reduce it to fit 1/4 or 3/8 standard treats. No one was able to figure it out even by putting many pieces together. As soon as the very professionals saw what I wanted to do they said "It's going to be hard" The problem is to reduce it from metric to standard. This is a masterpiece in my own opinion. This is the answer and the most efficient way of converting the regular snap-on valve to a bulk CO2.Look No More!I got it in few days. I am now enjoying carbonating drinks from a Bulk CO2.Oh by the way, one reviewer gave a low ratings because the adapter was not including. Just go to home depot or a hardware store and pick it up. as far as i know the extra piece is not offered in the pictures in Amazon.Awesome work!!Thank you.

Works flawlessly.
Made it super easy to adapt my Sodastream Terra. Grab a high pressure hose, some teflon tape, any adapters you may need, and a CGA-320 nipple and you're ready to rock and roll. You should always use teflon tape when connecting plumbing as it allows for a better seal. Go the extra mile and use an appropriately sized o-ring and you can be extra sure you wont have any leaks.

Works But Leaks
Coming from Alexander Courville's video, I bought this for my SodaStream Terra. After buying a hose and 1/8" NPT Nipple, everything was set up but the nipple doesn't screw in all the way into the female end of the adapter, causing a leak. Thankfully, some people in the reviews mentioned Threadlocker Blue 242 and that solved the issue for me but it seems that teflon or plumber's tape seems to work as well.Perhaps this issue will be fixed in the next iteration of the adapter, as it seems like it wasn't an issue for the first batch.
