Predators Series 3 - 7" Elder Predator Action Figure - NECA

Now, I have been waiting to get a GOOD Predator action figure for years, and I must say, this one was quite impressive.The detail over the entire figure surprised me as soon as I took it out of the box. It has sort of restored my confidence in NECA's ability to make a decent figure.The wrist blades actually extended out with this one, and it came with the cutlass and 16th century flintlock pistol he took from a man he hunted a few centuries before the movie (Predator 2).Everything about this figure I like except that the tusk piercings that it had fell off shortly after I removed it from the package, which needless to say bummed me out.The rest of the figure made up for that, and the Elder Predator is the first of what I hope will become an impressive collection.Also, mine has three names: Elder Predator, Greyback, and Mr. Murphy. The last one is after my Physics teacher, since they have a lot in common: they both have been around a while, and don't put up with any crap.

Part of NECA's Predator series three line the Elder is the ancient warrior we see very briefly at the end of Predator 2. First off I commend NECA for bringing this to us, add to that they also plan to bring out every member of the Lost Predators we see surround Danny Glover in that scene! This is a great figure for it's scale, the sculpt buries every Predator released by McFarlane and you can tell by looking at it that attention to detail was paramount.I must, however, point one thing they missed and I'm surprised they did, in the film the Elder has his tri-laser targeting mounted on top of his plasma cannon, this is missing from the figure, instead we get a recycling of the standard plasma caster and back pack from the classic Predator which is fine because in the film it was identical to the original seen in the first film. This is a minor gripe yes but considering that they captured pretty much every detail including the piercing on his lower left tusk I'm surprised they missed this, otherwise it's outstanding.I've read that many are having issues with parts breaking off upon removal from the packaging and when trying to move parts of it, I wouldn't know as I have mine in his packaging and don't plan to remove him. Bottom line if you're a fan of Predator 2, an underrated film IMO, than these lines of figures are a must have, just be careful with them if you plan to remove them from the packaging.

this collectible is a very decent likeness to the one in Predator 2 and I was very happy when I received it but all buyers of this product should know that it is very fragile this is not a toy for little kids who like smashing their figures together to simulate fighting this is more of a 16 and up figure for the Predator collector fan and such the joints are the most fragile part so be careful with them or you will be reordering this item I was trying to get mine's left arm to bend and SNAP the joint broke so yea..... be careful when handling it or you will be sorry other than that it is a very nice looking collectible and I enjoy looking at it I have always been pleased with NECA and they really deliver on detail and accuracy of their character'scollectible's. all in all I gave it 4 stars if the joints were a lil looser and not as fragile I would probably given it a 5 across the board.

Love the quality for the price! Excellent detail and movementon the figure. NECA has become a favorite manufacturer of mine.Highly recommend!

The figure is absolutely beautiful in appearance. The detail is insane. It is very disappointing in one area. Wanting to display this figure meant that it be removed from the packaging. During this process the pin in the left elbow joint snapped. . It was necessary for mr to glue the arm pieces together. The same applies to the right joint. It snapped when attempting to pose the figure. All other articulation points seem to be fine,

bought this one with two other predator figures for a craft project. Fully pose-able, good coloring, durable. Looks great in action sequences with other NECA figures. In terms of looks, probably my favorite of the three, also got the shaman

This one's a classic already, a must have if you are a "Predator" fan. Great details and look, it's an awesome figure.

Purchased this item as a gift -- same day it was opened, the arm broke off at the elbow--was supposed to be a functioning arm but the joint was fused together. Unable to return it due to 30 day return policy. Very expensive CHEAP toy.

Der Predator sieht gut detailiert aus und ist recht hochwertig für diese Preis. Die Kanone ist nur etwas fummelig zu befestigen und hält eher schlecht am Predator. Aber für diesen guten Preis eine empfehlenswerte Sammelfigur.

Die Figur war ein Geschenk an einen Freund zum Geburtstag - und als ich sie bekam, wollte ich sie schon fast selber behalten! Absolut detailgetreu und einfach nur toll anzusehen! Ein MUST HAVE für jeden Predator - Fan!
