SoundMAGIC E80C High Fidelity in-Ear Sound Isolating Earphones with Mic and Remote for Audiophiles - Gunmetal

These are excellent earphones. These are my third pair of earphones around the same price. I used 1more triple drivers for a couple of months and they were exceptional, but the problem was I couldn't use them with my Pixel XL as they have a compatibility issue, they even updated their website adding the pixel phones to their incompatible phone list, still kinda disappointed with it.Anyway, I have ordered the Sennheiser Momentum (a.k.a HD1) being a very long time fan of those and they were good, more emphasis on bass like all the momentum series. The problem was they had limited number of eartips and not many compatible third party eartips with different sizes.Which brings me to the E80C Reference series; first up, I don't think these are extremely noise isolating, but they are adequate. I was kind of skeptical at first, I was kind of spoilt by the premium packaging the 1more arrived in. In comparison, these arrived in a bubble wrap envelope and when I opened it, the box had damage at the bottom and how cheap the box in the envelope was. However, I got the earphones out of the box and tried out the standard eartips they came in, the sound was okay, nothing exceptional so I tried out one of the comply eartips (comes with S, M and L) right out of the box! It took me a couple of tries before I settled on the small since the mediums weren't snug and I could hear the noises around me.Anyway, let me tell you about the sound. Out of this world! It may sound exaggerating, but I have used quite a few of the "budget" and slightly expensive earphones and headphones. Right now, I have used Shure SE 215, ATH M50x, Bose SoundTrue Ultra, SoundTrue in-ear, Sol republic tracks on-ear, Sony MDRBT, JLab, Grado among others. These are the real deal, I really needed something with a mic and could be worn for a long time while having a good listening experience. The sound is warm, no part of the sound signature is overpowering, like the bass in the Momentums and nothing missing. I don't look for a studio experience, but these grow on you, slowly but steadily. You need time to get used to the sound of these, and once they lock you in, you'll love them. I am glad I tried these out, they are truly amazing and comfortable. The mic works and there's not too much cable noise, although the cable feels weird to the touch. Oh well, I'm pretty sure I'll get used to it. I'd definitely recommend them if someone is shopping around the price range, or you could buy without the mic for much less.

These were bought while on vacation in the USA in December 2019.I was looking for a set of in-ears with higher impedance to work with my LG G7 ThinQ phone after the stock LG Quadbeats died. Lower impedance earphones were useless on the G7.Sound is very well balanced. Unlike other earphones these are not bass heavy. They're very comfortable sound across the board. Worked perfectly with the G7 DACs. I haven't had to tweak any equalizer settings to enjoy them. When I did want more bass, they can easily provide more, but I just enjoy the full sound they do produce. Nothing seems to be missing from the sound on these.They seem to very rugged as well and can take abuse. They've been bundled up and chucked in a laptop bag, dropped, etc, and have experienced no issues with connections at the earphone or jack ends in the 2+ years of ownership.The cable can be tangly at times. Not as managable as the cloth-covered cables of the QuadBeats. If these had cables like the QuadBeats they'd be the ultimate pair of earphones.The microphone unfortunately seems to have died or lost sensitivity over time. Not a big deal for me, I rarely use it for the microphone. But it might also just be related to the Dell laptop I was using them on.To date these are the best earphones I have purchased and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Didn’t like quality. It’s just ordinary sound quality, even they sell it for $2 then too don’t buy it. Their model SoundMAGIC ES11s Noise IsolatingEarphones is excellent quality but I guess they sell that very costly. So better go for Xiaomi Bluetooth from some websites which you know. Like Temu and Ali or Shien.

These are decent phones with rich yet balanced sound, good fit, sturdy design and easy to manage cable.I was a bit disappointed by the design of the control pod that houses the buttons and the microphone. It is large, larger than on other phones that I had before, but it is difficult to hold confidently or press the controls. Also, it seems impossible to skip music playback forward or backward. It is a miss, given sophistication of the conroller (works with both Android and iPhone) and the price.The 45-degree plug is a bit of a miss for me, too. It doesn't go straight out of your pocket as a straight connector would do. It also doesn't allow the phone to be put connector-down as a 90-degree connector would allow you to. It sort of always sticks out in 1/2 wrong direction regardless of how you want to use the cable. However, I appreciate how sturdy the connector is and how comfortable the grip is. This should help it last a long time.

Good audio quality for the price.

Für mich sind die Soundmagic E80 absolut perfekt. Nach den E10 bin ich 2016 auf die E80 umgestiegen. Der Klang ist wesentlich natürlicher und runder. Einzig die Höhen sind am Anfang etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Ich habe jetzt über die Jahre mehrere "in ears" getestet und keiner konnte mich überzeugen. Obwohl mein Paar aus 2016 noch immer wie neu ist, habe ich zur Sicherheit das Produkt nochmals gekauft.

De geluidskwaliteit is goed, maar helaas lag de eerste dag al na het eerste gebruik al een deel van de kabel bloot. Dus zal waarschijnlijk niet lang duren voordat deze gebroken is.

Dessa hörlurar är bra. Ljudet är noggrant separerade att det definitivt är en stor glädje att lyssna på musik från dem.Jag tycker att diskanten är lite för kraftfull, vilket kan göra att musiken jag lyssnar på blir lite jobbig ibland.Jag har en MP3-spelare som heter Transcend MP 330 och det finns ingen equalizer på den. Hade det inte varit för diskanten så hade det blivit 5 stjärnor. Annars är SoundMAGIC E80 definitivt valuta för pengarna.

Excellent sound when used with my portable cd player and classical music. For relatively low cost wired earphones these are excellent build quality and the accessories and packaging comprehensive and first rate especially the case and range of eartips. The sound is excellent and convincing throughout the frequency range and is very satisfying a listen with orchestral and piano music . At the £32 I paid I think these are excellent value. My very much more expensive beoplay headphones are more open and generally satisfying but by no means put these E80 earphones to shame . I am well satisfied with my purchase in all respects.
