Really impressed. I'm unable to work in my home office without a wifi extender, and the one I had went on the fritz. I ordered this via one day shipping, in the hope it would be as good as some of the glowing reviews said. Set it up quite quickly, and now have a really strong wifi signal up here! Hooray!HOWEVER, what would have been a 2 minute set up took longer because there are errors in the instruction manual. When you follow the instructions, they have the wrong IP address to enter to access the control panel. Looking at the images elsewhere in the manual, I could see the correct address, but it's wrong in the 'step by step' bit. They list it as 192.168.1 but it's actually 192.168.10.1 and it took me a moment to figure this out. Such a good product is let down a little by the shoddy booklet (with loads of other spelling errors too) but I still had to give it a 5.

I live in an apartment duplex, I'm on one side my dad on the other. The wifi router is on his side and I usually only get wifi signal in my living room (which abuts his living room) however the router is in his bedroom. Instead of uprooting his preferences I bought this wifi extender to help me get wifi in my bedroom (which abuts my living room). Unable to give exact dimensions but he placed this device in a socket in his living room (which abuts my living room), I sat in my couch and set it up. The initial signal to connect to this device was sketchy so I didn't breathe too hard to cause it to disappear. Once I set it up it seemed like the strength grew. I got up and walked into my bedroom, bathroom...was able to use browser with no problem. It responded quickly. Will continue to monitor its efficiency but yes setup was painful going by the manual. Didn't want to give up on it too quickly since I bought it and it's not simple for me to do returns where I live. The instructions below were pivotal in my setup success:I set it up with my iPhone:1. Plug wifi extender into a 110v electrical socket. Power LED is on solid, WLAN LED flickers2. Find "MSRM" in wifi choices on your smart phone and connect "MSRM" (no passwords Yet)3. Open a web browser (IE,google,etc) on your phone and type in "192.168.10.1 in the URL search to see log in page4. On login page, type in username and password (both are "admin" ,5. click login6. select "Repeater Mode"7. You will see a wifi list on the mode wizard page. Select the name of your wifi router8. click connect. You are done9, Go to wifi selections on your phone and select "comfast" if it asks for a password, it is the one on your wifi router10. Surf internet on your phone to check results

Does a nice job extending my signal across my home. I notice better performance and can see a better signal strength when on the Extender at the far end of the house. When I was using the original signal at that end of the house I had a hard time having a good, consistent signal but this fixed it. I was a skeptic, but am very glad I purchased this.It doesn't seem to work with my phone unless I have a setting wrong. But it does work with my computers, tablets and smart TVs. I'm very pleased. See photo...MSRM Extender has better signal than original WiFi.

Set up was a little confusing for an inexperienced user. Seller contacted me and made every effort to help. I believe this is a good product, but needs more detailed instructions.

I never write product reviews.Hands down the worst Quick User Guide.1. URL Typo on their instructions. Figured it out after reading screenshot url. LAME2. Their step 3 - 5 reads backwards, right to left and it's not paginated correctly.Conclusion: This horrific translation could only come from China.

It works great and was pretty easy to set up. The only complaint I have is if your in the same room as the device you can hear the loud pitched humming the device makes witch is irritating and makes it sound like your ears are ringing.

Good product. I set it up over WiFi, and no cables were needed. It set up quickly and gave me no headache. It is also simple to reset it, if you forget the password or want to restore factory settings.

Coverage was good but the throughput was very menial. 6-7 tests yielded 6-6.5 mbps through put. Good for single person use in weak signal spots but not ideal for extending existing range for basement use with 10-12 devices that need good bandwidth.
