This award winning crafting desk has to be the most unique style desk in the marketplace today. It is constructed from an amber colored, solid bamboo plywood. What makes this desk incredibly different is that it can be assembled in three ways, so that the desk can either be 48", 60" or 72" - it all depends on how you want to set up the shelving systems! If you set up the shelves on the insides of the upright panels, the desk is a very compact 48". If you want more horizontal surface available to you, you can move one of the shelving systems to the outside of one of the upright panels and now the desk will measure 60" from edge to edge. For those who want to supersize it, you can move both sets of shelves outside the upright panels and now the desk measures 72" edge to edge. You can even have two people working at this desk, because there are kneehole cutouts on both sides! Like all of our desks, it goes together without tools or hardware for a quick and easy assembly. The Legaré's Configurable Craft Office Desk measures 24" x 48-72" x 32", the perfect size for your office or home.

Great desk, easy to put together
This desk is much nicer than I expected it to be! The wood is solid and sturdy. My husband and I put it together in about 20 minutes. I love that it is modular so you can put it in a configuration that works for your space. The shelves won't hold anything super heavy, like a printer, but that is just about my only complaint. Some other reviews mentioned that it came poorly packaged, so I'd like to speak to that. It arrived at my house and the box was kind of crushed, BUT the way it was packaged was a box within a box, so the inner box and the desk itself was fine. It was not just pieces thrown together in a box, like someone else mentioned, they were neatly placed with protective material in between the pieces. Overall I am really happy with this desk and I would recommend it.

Great desk, bad packaging
Bought this desk in the Espresso color a little more than a month ago and so far I am very satisfied with the product.Pros:-SUPER easy to assemble. I did it alone and it took me like 20minutes. NO SCREWS, no tools needed, nothing. Just a brain and two hands. It is rather ingenious how it assembles and it is VERY sturdy.-Looks very nice.-Very customizable - depending on what you need, you can put the side shelves to face the inside or outside. And they adjust to different heights, although once you put the whole thing together, you will have to take some parts apart to adjust them.Cons:- it was shipped horribly. I mean truly terrible. They took all the parts, just dumped them in a oversized box and sent it on its merry way. It did not arrive damaged thankfully, but it was very concerning.-the color is a little darker than on the picture. I ordered the espresso and it is a little darker than expected, although still very good looking.Overall very satisfied. Wish it was a little cheaper, but considering the looks and ingenuity of the assembly I am very satisfied.

Assembly nightmare!
I'm not sure about the other reviews on here or if there was a problem with my unit but I found the assembly quite difficult; even when oiled down with a nice light sheen of lemon oil many of the pieces were extremely stiff going into the slots and some needed extreme force to place appropriately. I even had to saw one piece off when putting the top on because it literally would not come out - and yes, I did everything exactly according to the instructions.Once assembled, the quality is quite nice. It's VERY sturdy, the finish is lovely and it is aesthetically pleasing. Good luck re-configuring it though, especially if yours is as stiff as mine was. Maybe I should've ordered it in the summer when the bamboo might be more pliable...Overall, I recommend it, but be ready for the potential of sore hands.

Easy Assembly, Solid Looks, Happy.
Bought this for my son's room. He absolutely loves the desk. The desk feels solid, sets up quickly, and the bamboo looks great. Assembly was straight forward and quick, albeit a bit unnerving when I felt I needed to "force" a couple of pieces into place -- but fit seems solid. I assembled it in once in the living room to make sure that I had all of the pieces and that they fit. Disassembly was quick and reassembly just as smooth. We've only had it for a week -- but I would definitely look to purchase this or similar products in the future.

Love the desk and color of the wood
Love the desk and color of the wood. I bought the Amber and am very pleased. I was worried it wouldn't be that sturdy, but it is very stable and study! Packaging was great. It required a little more muscle than I thought it would to put the pieces together, but my husband was able to assemble it for me with no problem (maybe I am just weak :) ). I am using it as a computer desk and it easily hold a monitor and laptop with keyboard and mouse. I would definitely recommend this product! Love the finished product.

Great design, mediocre packaging
Overall: Form factor, sturdiness, and customizability are great. The laminate bamboo panels are attractive and strong, but do have some cosmetic rough spots/tiny gaps in a few places. Worst part is a couple of cosmetic scratches from poor packaging. Excellent cable access from the back if you're using this desk for electronics.Assembly: Weight is roughly 75lbs (34kg), so keep that in mind. The parts can only be assembled in a specific sequence. Disassembly works in reverse. No tools are technically necessary, but a rubber mallet might be a good idea, especially for disassembly if moving the desk to a different location or reconfiguring shelves. Can be assembled by one person, but two people would be safer.Other notes: The shelves are only structurally fixed on two non-parallel sides, which means they could snap if a lot of weight is applied at the free corner. Don't lean on them. The tabletop is quite strong, and the design seems very unlikely to tip forward because of the angle and weight distribution. The design also has no sharp edges.

Awesome
This was the easiest to assemble piece of furniture I've ever put together. Literally took 5 minutes, and comes back apart in the same amount of time. Unfortunately the old MDF desk it replaced took much longer to take apart!Beautiful finish, and great that the top is reversible in case it gets scratched. Also, the shelves are sturdy enough to hold a printer.
