Wirelessly WoWing
I bought these headphones for my boyfriend for his birthday. He loves them. He uses them for playing WoW and talking to his coworkers. The microphone is insanely sensitive. When he is in a group the people always can hear me. It is set up in the corner of our living room and you can be heard from almost every room in the house. Great product. He bought me a set of wireless headphones from a different place and they do not work as well. Buy the you will not regret it. They are the ultimate gaming headphones. If you put good batteries in the headphones not cheap ones it will last a long time. We have had these for about a month now and my boyfriend uses them probably 10 hours a day. Just make sure you shut them off when not in use.

NX-922a Wireless 5in1 headphones
I have had one other pair of headphones before. This was well over a decade ago so i do not recall the manufacturer. May have been Pioneer. I simply loved the headphones. Lets start with the unpacking. This pair of headphones is cradled by a thin plastic container which will provide some support during transport. As far as impact protection Amazon does provide additional protection on the top and sides with Sealed Air® Fill-Air(tm) plastic air filled bladders. The manufacture's or Triple Play's packaging does lift the headphones up somewhat so that additional packaging on the bottom isn't really necessary. The instructions as stated in other reviews is definitely lacking. They do go so far as supplying a Spanish translation on the revers of the single page instructions. It also provides a visual representation of multiple wireless solutions for tv, mp3, pc and an extremely vague(useless) representation of an all in one monitor. It suggests that the user first turn on the volume control, press reset then press scan. This seems wrong. The sound is already being picked up by the wireless headphones. When i pressed scan it the picked up wireless radio even though I had it set to Audio Chat. I immediately encountered the hum. I have a fairly nice audio setup for my pc that includes 3 satellite speakers in addition to two main speakers and a sub-woofer. I thought there might be some interference from one or all wires or speakers. I separated the wires and turned off my sound system. Same thing. Ok maybe it was the surge protector. I removed it from there and tried straight into the wall. No change. Ok. Tried a different outlet. Same. Too much on one circuit. Tried a different outlet not being asked for much at all with the addition of an extension cord in the equation this time. NO CHANGE. I don't know much about sound but I thing there is something about shielding the wires that could help. For 12 or 19 what do I expect? For them to work RIGHT. Am I wrong to expect a manufacturer to produce something that works for a low price. I am not expecting Bose sound quality. I then tried multiple sound setups via my OS's sound setup as well as my audio chip's manufacturer( Realtek )sound control panel. I was able to REDUCE the hum. Ok forget it. Lets try corded. Holy raisins no hum. Enter the static that was being drowned out by the hum. A closed system that is encountering static? Lets press reset. Same. Lets turn down different volume controls on my computer. NO change. Turn down volume on the headphones? Forget it. When this is wired the inline volume control is taken out of the loop. You can remove the batteries if you want. All wireless functions of course aren't used in a wired scenario. So I mute my computer. I STILL have STATIC. Could I have received a bad pair. YEP. Am I going to look for an audio solution offered by this company? Absolutely NOT. DO NOT BUY FROM NAXA. They equate a low cost with stupid apparently. Some of their more expensive audio solutions probably work better because the people that are buying them know what to expect. The target demographic of these seem to be people that don't. Am I going to return these? Spend more money to ship them back and wait for however long. No. I do not want any more headaches. Chalk this up as a loss and learning experience. Oh the audio quality is EXACTLY what I expected and read about. I did NOT expect " Professional" audio quality. I helped out at my church every Wednesday and Sunday and various days with running the HD Vido Camera for Austin's local public access channel as well as helping run the sound board to unsure audio quality is at it's best for our 3,000+ visitors on Sunday and 1,000+ on Wednesday. If my former pastor who was my pastor at the time heard this on channel 11 Sunday morning at 8:00 the Tech Ministry( our audio and video team ) would hear about it. As a matter of fact our editing department would not even have released it. There is a level of audio that needs to be met and we ensure that we provide the cleanest and fullest sound that we can. The sound from these headphones was VERY hollow and what I would expect from a pair of $1 headphones bought from a dollar store's 50¢ bargain bin. I received the package on the promised date. I received an e-mail when the label was printed and was able to track it after UPS received it. I tried to track it initially and received some message, from UPS, like label has been printed but we do not have possession of this. So Amazon comes away with my thanks but Naxa comes away with honest bad word of mouth advertising that will have a ripple effect for a while. Please save your money and choose a different product. Receiving a good pair of headphones should not be like ordering from a slot machine. Some will work right and others will not. Quality control/assurance at this price level seems to be non-existent. EDIT: I just read through my review and something struck me as odd. The volume was muted and there was still sound? I just took these out of my junk drawer. I might use them while I mow the lawn if I can get the volume loud enough. I use these in a VERY quiet environment. I have yet to try to test the loudest volume because I don't like abusing audio equipment, I don't want to damage them seeing as how they are lower quality there was no reason to do so. Anyways back to my edit. If I faded out and then muted an audio track that just finished and brought the mic up for whoever was speaking there should be clean sound. If I encountered this amount I would immediately look down at the line of mute buttons to see if another mic was open not to mention be embarrassed for making such a careless mistake. So i took these headphones out to test that theory. Sorry to inform Naxa that when the volume is muted with this Realtek audio setup it mutes it across the board. There is a singular mute and the volume control system wide mute. I went ahead and muted my system. Same static when it is plugged in and hum when it is wireless. Hum would seem to be electrical but I can't figure it out. I was tempted to take out my frustration on these but they might come in handy during the long hours of monotonous mowing. Because I apparently received defective merchandise. Once again save your money and invest it in something that will give you a return on your investment. If you want to simply spend your money save it anyways.

Slightly satisfied.
It's good.I wasn't expecting the best sound quality since it's wireless and runs based off a Radio Transmission. It definitely sounds like you're listening to the radio when you use wireless. When you use it plugged in, it sounds 100x better. You get some bass in it. I have it plugged into my ipod right now, and what I like about it, is that it doesn't drain my headphone battery, instead it drains my ipod battery, which is fine with me, because I usually keep it in my car on my charger, but for some reason it was in my room so I'm using it. The bass is decent when it's wired. And actually when they're plugged in, you don't even have to wear the headphones, you can just set them beside you and you still hear great. They do hurt your ears after a while because they're a little small/tight. But it's not unbearable, unless you're dumbo.Shipping time was a few days late. Not too bad for $20.

I am happy with their performance and after a couple of months ...
We have different schedules. When we watch tv or tubes the other is usually asleep. These are cheap so they don't last long two maybe three months. But they are worn and slept in almost 24/7. I have purchased so many of these that I have the broadcaster sections on all my tv's and computers. I have purchased rechargible triple A's and swap them out almost daily.I am happy with their performance and after a couple of months of constant wearing we need some new ones anyway. The sound is real good. Sometimes they are hard to connect you have to try numerious times while you get closer to the broadcast unit. By closer I mean pick it up and touch the headphones until it connects. Once they connect you can go out into the kitchen and get a snack with no problem. Without rechargible batteries they would be very expensive for us to work with.

You get what you pay for
Sound is subpar at best. Unless you are 2 feet from the receiver you get constant hiss. Bass is non-existent and volume is 10 % if what it should be. There is no power adapter for the base, so you have to use batteries all the time which can get expensive.Unfortunately this seems to be the state of affairs with everything we purchase now a days, "made in China". In the past year 98% of what I have purchased online has been made in China and 70% of it has been defective. I am finding myself more and more having to return subpar or defective products because of this and very often we have to pay for the return shipping when it is not an Amazon product.Recommendation, purchase from Amazon only or vendors that will pay for the return shipping because your chances of getting something in working order at 50/50 at best.

Save your time look elsewhere
Cheap in price ....This is reflected in quality and performance. I tried 2 sets using various program sources. Neither worked. Returned both and am now looking at a bluetooth solution using seperate transmitter and headphones.
