Lady's Black Lacquer Senryou Sandal Wood Clogs for Japanese Kimono and Yukata

I am returning this product as the straps are tied waay too tightly to the point I had to struggle to get my 8.5 size feet under them.The Pink thong that is supposed to meet b/w the Big toe and the one next to it is not only too short to be comfortable and functional, but is pulled so tightly that it is at a 45degree angle instead of 90degrees, so that the thong meets@the bottom of my Big toenail a good inch from the webbing of my toe(where it should be).These shoes wouldn't even be safe for dress up play shoes for kids.I'm so sick of company's who are clueless and overcharge for their products. You have no idea how excited I was that I was getting these delivered to my door. What an utter disappointment to be sure! Who makes shoes that are impossible to wear? They would be great shoes if only the people who made them had any idea about the anatomy of the human foot. I don't know if they were made in Japan; if they are, I can't even begin to fathom. Anyway, I have normal sized feet and every size 8.5 shoe I have bought from amazon has fit;no worries. I wasn't sure what size these were, but shortly after buying I found through research online that geta sandals are ideal to wear with some of the heel hanging off the back(strange I know). These are great geta. The strap is very comfortable and holds the sole against your foot instead of letting it flop up and hit your heel. There is foam on the bottom of the teeth so they are quiet and non-slip.I was able to wear these for hours very comfortably. They are a little tricky to learn to walk in, but after I wore them with my yukata at a festival I use them around the house and yard because I love them so much.I have a narrow foot, size 6 and these were a perfect fit.

I was hoping they would be big enough for me. They are not. They look great though. May have to squish my giant sizes foot in them anyhow.

these shoes are lovely and very comfortable to wear/walk in.
