Elegant & Practical — A Must-Have for Tea Lovers
I recently purchased the HIWARE 1000 ml Glass Teapot with the removable stainless steel infuser, and it has become a staple in my daily routine. Here’s why I absolutely love it:🫖 Design & Build QualityThe large 1‑liter capacity is perfect for sharing tea with family or hosting a small gathering. The borosilicate glass is beautifully clear, so you can enjoy the entire steeping process—watching blooming teas unfold is both relaxing and visually delightful. The glass feels sturdy and heat-safe, and the metal handle stays cool, making it easy to pour comfortably even when the contents are hot.🧾 Infuser & Brewing ExperienceThe fine-mesh stainless steel infuser fits snugly inside, making it easy to brew both loose leaf and blooming teas without worrying about leaves escaping. It’s simple to remove when the tea reaches your desired strength, giving you full control over the flavor. Cleanup is quick—just rinse and it’s ready for the next batch.🔥 Stovetop Safety & Practical FeaturesOne of the biggest surprises was how stovetop-safe the teapot is—yes, you can brew directly over low heat (glass-friendly stovetops only). It also has a snug lid and a well-designed spout that pours cleanly without drips or spills. This teapot strikes a beautiful balance between elegance and everyday functionality.I use this teapot almost daily—whether it’s a single mug for me or a full pot for guests. It makes brewing loose leaf, blooming, or herbal teas both therapeutic and pretty. If you’re a fan of slow tea rituals or entertaining, this HIWARE teapot is a stylish and functional choice that’s well worth the price.

Flimsy hardware - knob broke from lid under normal use
Update- I did an exchange for a new teapot. That process was too easy and fast. UPS'd the one with the defective knob yesterday and received the new one today. Seems like the lid on this one is far less tight, so I'm feeling good about the knob staying on. I bumped it up to 5 stars. I just really like the infuser, the teapot shape, and size (not too big). Glad it worked out that I ended up with it.--------I originally bought this tea pot for a gift. If the Amazon delivery person didn't toss the box onto my driveway and crush the outer and inner product box, my friend would have been writing this review, not me. Anyhow, since the teapot inside the product box was really well insulated with foam it survived the ordeal. So, I decided to keep it and give a gift card to my friend. Now, after only 3 days of use the knob on the lid came apart. What a disappointment. The knob is fastened to the lid with what looks like a regular 3/4" steel wood screw. Inside the knob's base is some sort of plastic and that broke apart dislodging small pieces of plastic that contaminated a good Japanese Sencha brew. Apart from this unfortunate product failure I really like the teapot. The borosilicate glass body holds up well - I used it with Medium heat on our electric stove top and in our microwave oven. I like the look, which is why I purchased it for a gift. The infuser is stamped with 304 which is more like 18% chromium and 8% nickel, that is 18/8, versus the 18/10 mentioned in the Amazon description. No big deal to me. The infuser works well keeping the leaves and grit away from the beverage and it is also easy to clean. Now I have to decide what to do with the teapot, as I can't use it without a knob to remove the lid.

Pretty and functional
I really love this teapot. The design is simple but beautiful and it works like champ. Feels a little delicate but I had any issues.

Not a bad teapot, but go with COSORI instead
In the last year, I've broken three teapots due to my clumsiness when cleaning. This teapot was my second favorite out of the batch.Hiware Glass Teapot (2nd Place)+ I didn't have any major complaints, but COSORI did some things better.+ No tea drippage when pouring.+ The tea basket is steel mesh (same as COSORI), so there's no chance it will break.+ Roobios which typically gets stick in the mesh filters, cleaned out easily. Occasionally, a piece of two would get stuck, but it was easy to get out.- The spout was smaller than the other two teapots, so it poured out tea slower. Overall, it's not a big deal, but having used the larger spouts, it's so much better.- The tea basket handle fell off in the dishwasher and disappeared forever.COSORI Glass Teapot (1st Place)+ Wide spout allows to pour tea out quickly.+ Non-dripping spout!+ Tea basket is identical to the Hiware one. Easier to clean than the glass one with a way to agitate the tea.+ No cons I can think of, by far my favorite teapot and the one I would buy again and recommend to others if they do not care for the all-glass aesthetics of the Teabloom teapot.- Like Hiware, you can use the lid without the tea basket, BUT, you will need to have the metal piece that connects the tea bakest on the teapot, or the lid will fall in. Not a deal-breaker.Teabloom Glass Teapot (3rd Place)+ This was the only teapot where the lid could cover the teapot without the basket.+ All glass is beautiful, but the tea basket is something extra that can potentially break.+ The spout allows you to pour the tea out quickly.- The basket has a few small slits on the bottom, so it takes a bit of time for the water to flow through it. If you pour water too quickly, it'll overflow.- The tea basket doesn't have a handle to remove the basket and agitate the tea after it's been steeped.- My biggest complaint is with the pour spout. Notice how the neck is straight. If you don't pour quickly, you'll end up dripping the tea onto your table.- Tea will get stick in the laser cut slits in the tea basket. I still can't remove some stuck tea no matter how hard I try.- Tea basket is not snug. As you pour your tea, it will rattle around a bit.The slower pouring spout was really where it lost points. I also lost the tea basket handle in the dishwasher so I'm docking some points there. But, if you're stuck between this one and COSORI either one is honestly fine.
