This jug is a quintessential item in many korean households. Koreans like making a huge jug of tea (usually barley) and keeping it in the fridge to drink cold tea all year long. My mom has this exact Luminarc jug and I always wanted one so I was super happy to find the same jug on Amazon! It's a well-designed and great quality jug. The opening is big enough (7cm inner diameter) to fit my hand inside to clean it and also most tea filters fits perfectly. The stainless steel tea infusing baskets that comes with most teapots fit perfectly. Large size Finum tea basket fits about 80% way in but still works great. I think the medium size finum baskets would fit perfectly. (Btw totally recommend finum tea baskets to other tea lovers) 10/10 recommend this jug. I love it so much.

Bought this to replace one (a different brand) we had for years but finally started to chip. I like that it’s glass, not plastic, since glass is easier to clean, won’t discolour and I don’t have to worry about bacteria buildup or chemical leeching. This one’s almost identical to our old one. Sturdy. Thick glass to reduce odds of breakage. Lid comes on/off easily and has 2 pour options (one with slats if you want to make sure no solids - e.g. ice cubes of lemon slices - block the spout.

Fits on my fridge shelf. Handle is easy to use for an elderly person. Big plus is that I can pour my Britta filtered water directly without needing a funnel.
