Perfect fit. Very warm color for an LED and VERY bright. Never is too hot to the touch.
Before I get into this, I want to respond to the 2 main complaints here as I don't think they are completely warranted. The warm light quality and the dimming. The warm color is great (more on that below). Yes the dimming isn't perfect when turned low BUT....... I have yet to buy any powerful LED bulb like these where the dimming is perfect. It's totally standard for LED bulbs like these. They just aren't designed for very low dimming. And honestly I have no reason to dim these very low anyway. Never did with the halogen either. So.....These aren't 100% exactly as warm as the halogen version BUT they are super darned close. And they shouldn't be exactly as warm as the halogen bulbs. They are LED and that's par for course of ANY LED. Having said that they are super darned close and completely close enough for me. The slight coolness to them is totally unnoticed by the rest of my family (and if I'm not thinking about it I don't notice it either).I have no complaints about the dimming. If you turn them to about the middle, or a touch below the middle, they are fine. After you go down more than that they do begin to flicker just a bit and make a tiny bit of noise. But like I said above, this is standard for powerful LED bulbs. And again, I have no reason to dim them that low anyway.I bought these to replace the halogen bulbs that were in my kitchen light fixture. Mainly to cut down on the energy used by them (and money!), and recently my neighbors house caught on fire. Had nothing to with halogen bulbs, but they get so hot and we use them so often it was a concern. The bulbs never get hot enough to where you can't actually touch them. Compared to the halogen bulbs where you had to wait an hour before touching them. I would 100% but these again (if they ever burn out, which I doubt they will). 5 stars all the way!

Great lighting
These bulbs are great! We have two articulating light fixtures for a total of ten lights in our kitchen and bought these as replacement bulbs for the 35 watt halogen bulbs. What a difference! So much brighter and SO MUCH cooler. With the old bulbs, if the light were left on even for a short time, they would radiate lots of heat. Not these. They do get warm but nothing that would come close to burning you. I will have to say with this many bulbs, the lighting can be a little harsh. Went to the hardware store and bought a dimmer switch. Problem solved. We are now lighting our kitchen with a maximum 65 watts and it was 350 watts. Oh, the color from the lights is great. Pretty much just a straight white. Not yellow and definitely not blue. Add all this in with the much greater life expectancy of LEDs and you can't go wrong.

Very nice bulbs, BUT...
These are very nice bulbs that appear well built, very close in size to halogen gu10 bulbs, and give off great light both in color temperature and beam size.BUT, and this could be very important to some users. If you use them with a dimmer with a night indicator light on it (small orange glow when the switch is turned off to help you find the switch in the dark) people never actually completely shut off, or they take a very long time to shut off. I have attached several pictures so that you can see the difference between the bulb out of the socket with no light coming out of the diodes, and in the socket with the switch completely shut off but the diodes slightly glowing. I also added a picture of the bulb almost in complete darkness with the diode still glowing. This might not be a big deal for most people because a lot of people probably do not have dimmers with the indicator lights on them. But I think it could be quite annoying if you bought the bulbs not expecting that to happen only to find that they do not work properly with your home dimmer. Also some people may not mind that the bulbs do not turn all the way off, personally it would drive me nuts. Fortunately for me I purchased the bulbs to use them in a completely different fixture, I was only using the fixture in the pictures to test the bulbs when they first arrived. So I really discovered this issue by accident. I tested all the bulbs in the pack and they all behaved the same way. The only way I could get them to not glow in a fixture on that particular dimmer was to use another brand-name led bulb alongside them in the same fixture. Somehow the other bulb either stabilized or absorbed the small amount of current that passed through from the indicator light.Probably way too much information for most buyers, but might help a few people.Otherwise great bulbs at a solid price.

These bulbs fit my track light fine and worked well. Very bright. Next time I will get a lower wattage.

Great brightness, but the bulb is longer
The bulbs replaced the four 35 watt halogen bulbs in the vent hood above my natural gas grill on the porch. They provide excellent light ... I appreciate the bright white color range and the ability to dim them to suit the occasion. I can dim the bulbs about 60 - 70 % without any flickering. The bulbs themselves are about 1/16 th of an inch longer that the halogen bulbs they replaced. This causes the rim of the bulb to slightly protrude from the bezel of the fixture. This is not a problem where they are mounted. All in all, I am satisfied with the bulbs and look forward to enjoying my grill without the heat from four halogen bulbs in my face. The cost savings is also a great feature.

Bioluz LEDs and by home artwork
I worked for over 30 years in a museum that used hundreds of track lights in the galleries. I have LOTS of experience with buying and replacing halogen lamps! We also installed numerous halogen track lights throughout our home. I used to worry about the dangers from the heat generated by those lamps, and had hot glass lenses fall out several times onto carpet and furniture. A few years ago I discovered Bioluz LEDs and we now have 55 LED GU10s installed. I have only replaced TWO or THREE even though they get a lot of use! I couldn’t be happier with the durability, dimmability, and low power consumption. I am also continually amazed at the color range and brightness of these lamps. The artwork in my home looks fantastic and gets plenty of visitor comments thanks to your lamps.
