A Great Crate for a Great Dog
My dog is 9 years old and has been crate trained his whole life. We used to just take his metal crate apart and throw it all into the car when we'd go somewhere and reassemble it (it took forever) but then I came to my senses and bought this product. It was super easy to assemble. We set it up in the living room for a few days before our trip just so that Pugsley could get used to it. It lies flat, taking up only a couple of inches of floor space in the trunk of the car. Once we arrived at my aunt's house, I set it up in our bedroom. When it was time for him to go to bed, he went right into the crate, no problem, and was quiet all night long. We used it the whole weekend with no issues. Easy to take down again to put back into the car for the ride home.Keep in mind, please, that this is a well-behaved dog who is used to being crated; I don't know how a dog would react if this was his/her first crate experience. I'm sure that an anxious/nervous dog jumping around inside of it could knock the crate over, and a burrower might be able to tear it up.

Sturdy, easy to put up/take down
This is a sturdy crate was very easy and intuitive to get it opened up. By unzipping the top, it's simple to push the two cross pieces into place and lock them. It is just as easy to take it down, making it a breeze to transport. We got this to take on vacation with our dog to use in hotels since dogs have to be crated when left alone. Since our pup also prefers to sleep in her crate at home, we also take it to the pet sitter. As with all travel crates, it's lightweight and there is a mesh zipping fabric panel that serves as a front door. This one has smaller mesh windows on the other three sides but not on the roof. We liked it so much, we ended up getting the Small, then the Medium, then the Large as our dog grew. (Probably should have bought the large one in the first places but we didn't know how big she would be!) Size note - It's important to read the dimensions on all the portable crates. There isn't a standard for S, M, L sizing across brands so use the measurements provided to determine what size is correct for your pet.

Great product
Purchased for when I travel for my dog. Folds down nicely for easy storage. I place under my bed when not in use. It is light weight making it easy to move or carry. This is not meant to secure your dog, if your dog wants out it would take less than 15 minutes to get out. My dog was all ready create trained and this just gives her a safe place to relax when I travel. It also fits nicley in back of my small SUV.

Make sure your dog doesn't try to escape.
I got this because we were fostering a dog that was being treated for a variety of issues (heartworms, needed to be neutered, etc.), so we were taking him to the vet every other week. While the crate was great for putting in the truck, we tried to use it once when we left the house. 30 seconds after the front door closed the camera sent an alert there was movement. Dog took two swipes at the front screen and was out. I wanted to see if there was a way to just get a replacement screen, and I felt bad about returning the whole thing (especially since it was our dogs fault). But just keep in mind that if your dog wants to get out, he will.

Good, sturdy, lightweight crate for CRATE TRAINED dogs!
I purchased this crate because I didn't want a heavy, bulky, hard to move metal one. I also got it because our rescue was already crate trained. Just looking at the photos, before getting the crate, you can see it wouldn't be ideal for a puppy or older dog who isn't used to a crate. They would want to get out and in trying to get out, they would be able to tear through the mesh door and windows in no time, I'm sure. I bet an aggressive chewer would even eat through the canvas material. When you think of this crate, think of a sturdy tent that you would camp out in.It's easy to set up, easy to break down, and folds away flat for convenience. It's perfect for a more compact space. All in all, we're very happy with this purchase and would recommend to people looking to get a nice, roomy, soft crate for their pup.

Stable but not durable
I bought this for traveling with my dog when she was a puppy and if your dog like mine is of higher intelligence they will find ways to let themselves out (mine learned how to unzip it from watching us unzip it and rezip it) and if they can't figure it out they'll chew their way out. If you're buying this for a smaller dog who doesn't normally have a chewing problem and you would like to use this for travel, it's great.

Easy for travel!
So far so good! It’s easy to put up and take down. I travel a lot with my lab mix dog and it works well for her! The only concern I would have is if you have a rambunctious dog it may not hold up very long since it’s tent like material on the bottom of the crate, but the fabric walls seem like they should hold up. My dog is about 50lbs and the large is plenty big enough, she’s well behaved so I’m not worried about her tearing the material. Only netting on the front so again may not be for a dog that likes to rip stuff up easily. Happy with it though!!

Nice for a dog that won't try to get out.
This is a very nice crate. It's goes together quick and easy, and folds down easily. It's well made and very roomy for my 60 lb. Aussie. I wouldn't recommend it if you have a dog that claws at it though. It won't contain a dog that wants out if it though. The first time I left my dog in it he ripped right through the mesh, but it's obvious that a mesh door could not be reliable. I wish it had a wire gate. It's now just use for his sleeping place. I use the hard plastic crate when I have to leave him.

Great soft crate for an even better price.
Easy to setup. Easy to carry (very light weight). Bought the 36x24x24 for my senior, 22lb dog. A bit bigger than expected but our dog loves it and feels very much at home in it. This is his first crate, so we're waiting to see how it holds out when we leave him alone in it.

Good but could be better!
Good dog crate. Just wished it came with handles to make it easier to carry. Also would have been better with a side door not just the front.

Disappointing
Purchased to move our cats long distance, they chewed through the mesh and were able to get out of the crates
