I’ve used this inflatable shampoo basin a few times now to soak and wash my dreadlocks at home, and it’s been a game changer. It’s surprisingly comfortable to rest in, easy to inflate and deflate, and deep enough to really soak my locs without water splashing everywhere.The silver color looks sleek and clean, and the design feels thoughtful — it cradles the neck well and doesn’t collapse or tip even when it’s full of water. I’ve found it especially helpful when I want to deep clean or do longer soaks without the mess or strain of leaning over a sink or tub.Highly recommend for anyone with dreadlocks or textured hair that benefits from longer soak times — also seems like it would be great for caretakers or anyone needing a more accessible option for hair washing at home. Simple, effective, and does what it promises.

I purchased this product for my mother who is receiving home hospice care. Home health care aides “wash” her hair as best as they can with shampoo caps, but nothing feels better than actually getting your hair and scalp washed and rinsed thoroughly.This product worked well and she was able to get her hair washed and conditioned. There was a bit of leakage at the neck as we tried to get the base of her hairline in the back but unless you had something custom sized for one’s own neck, I don’t think it could have work any better. The hospital bed still had a slight tilt when flattened as far as it could go so that contributed to the neck area slightly leaking as well.We were proactive in planning for possible leaks. We placed a waterproof mattress pad overtop of her clean sheets and then we placed a folded blanket on top of the mattress cover at the head area of the bed. The basin was placed on top and then we placed my mother’s head into the basin. When we were finished, we just had to collect the mattress cover and folded blanket to reveal her clean, dry sheets. The upper back of her night shirt was damp but we were ready with a clean, dry one.Overall, with planning and preparation to handle any leaking from the area where to neck is placed, this product worked as expected and my mother was so happy to get her hair completely washed.

My daughter came home from the hospital after a horrible car accident and is stuck in a hospital bed for the next 3 months. While in the hospital for 2 and a half weeks, her hair hadn't been washed and was only brushed when I was there to do it. All this poor kid wanted when she got home was to be clean - hair included. The body was easy. Her super long hair was the challenge. This was the perfect solution!! We were able to lay her hospital bed flat and put her head/hair in this and get the job done. We used a mop bucket to drain the water into, and a camp shower that we hung up above her head. This was super comfortable for her and easy to use. the only downfall is the drain. I'm not really sure how an improvement could be made since this thing is inflatable, but it just doesn't drain very well. In the case of someone that is more mobile, this probably wouldn't be a huge issue. If it wasn't for that, this would have been a 5 star review.

This is awesome. My mom has had a long stay in the hospital and I knew washing her hair would make her feel so much better. It was so easy to figure out how to blow up. No leaks. Great price. Life saver.

This shampoo basin is wonderful. It is well constructed. It did not leak. It served me very well. I used it to detox my daughter's locs. I'm very pleased with this product. I highly recommend it.

As a Black mom with 4 teenage sons with dreads, finding an efficient and comfortable way to wash their hair at home has always been a challenge. The Cehim Inflatable Shampoo Basin has been an absolute game changer for me and my family! With a busy household, having a portable and easy-to-use solution like this is a blessing. I can wash their hair in the kitchen while watching TV or even in my bedroom. It's lightweight and easy to inflate and deflate, making it simple to set up and store away when not in use. I've used it three times since my purchase, and the boys have said that it is comfortable, and they like that their shirt does not get wet anymore. I love the water draining feature that lets me drain the water while I'm still washing their hair. The only thing that warrants the 3 stars for me is the fact that with my specific basin, every time I blow it up and start using it, it is hard to keep air in it. I've checked for holes, and can't find any.

It was convenient and easy to use worked great. Had a young person blow it up for me.

I bought this product for my bedridden mother. It has been wonderful for her caregivers. They love how much easier it has made washing her hair. Mother actually now enjoys having her hair washed. Great product !!
