What the Ladybird Heard at the Seaside

Do sequels live up to expectations ? I think, NO.But, my 5-year old disagrees. The book was an instant hit. The kiddo loved the adventure of the ladybird by the seaside, was full of glee and mirth as yet again, the ladybird 'tricked' Hefty Hugh and Lanky Len. The cute glitter-interspersed illustrations make the book beautiful. The arrival of the book, ended up with us re-reading the earlier three adventures.I, on the other hand, found the book to be contrived. And did not enjoy it as much as the earlier three. But that is on me.Do buy, if you kid is a 'ladybird' fan.
