Petsafe 1000 Elite Series Big Dog Remote Trainer Add-A-Dog Extra Collar by Innotek

We have a boxer that loves water. We already went through one of these collars, so I bought this as a replacement. The last one quit charging after 4 months. This one is actually holding a charge better than the original and lasts longer.I can't give it 5 stars, because the brand is exactly the same as the one that didn't last. However, given the price, if this one goes bad, I'll probably just buy another.

Works like its supposed to the reason for the 3 star review is this ad is very misleading. The pic of the collar is a pic of the true petsafe 1000 receiver collar with a rubber collar however it shows up with a damn nylon collar and these collars are junk! This is the second one I have bought claiming to be a true petsafe 1000 receiver collar and it be the nylon guess ill just have to buy a better collar for the receiver.

I bought this and an extra collar and it was extremely expensive. I have 5 puppies so I needed more collars so I bought a much cheaper collar. It was $40 but it was water proof and came with 2 collars and is water proof and rechargeable. Well after comparing the two I would rather just have paid the extra and got another petsafe collar. You get what you pay for and the cheaper collar turns off, it sometimes stops working and the range is crappy. I have had no problems with my petsafe collar and can command 2 collars with one remote very easy without getting mixed up. The shock part of the collar isn't very strong and my husky laughs at me when she is chasing the cats and I zap her but with the cheap collar it zaps 10 times harder but I have heard that it can burn the skin. Anyway even though petsafe is outrageously over priced it is a reliable and great training tool. I only have to beep the collar once and my dogs come right back in! Well all but my stubborn husky!

I thought I was ordering the big dog collar and when I got it, it was for a little dog. I kept it because we have a 6 month old puppy and I hopr I get her trained before she gets too old.

Not impressed with this product...Also spent the money and was not able to use the product as this is for an extra dog added. This should be better clearly marked when reviewing what we are buying. I need to return this and do not know what I need to do to send the product back. Also, if purchasing just a remote would've been an option I would have kept this however that was not an option. Not impressed. Purchased a shock collar at my local farm store sadly it is not rechargeable but needed the collar as soon as possible and purchasing just the remote wasn't an option or I would've kept it.

This was purchased as a replacement collar for the same collar we have used on our dog since she was a puppy. Works really well for her and she responds really well to just the beep training.

Said I could pair with my other dog collar of de me and model, when trying.g to pair with remote did not work ended up calling company and paying $100 to get another peice to work. The rep did give me a 50% discount but still had to pay out more than my first purchase.

Bought this to add to the system I already had for our other dog, works great and was easy to add to the system. Great product for training.
