7 month old , at its dying , don't buy
The media could not be loaded. I bought this as I have Alexia products around the house, and its great for that side of things as im disabled, the picture is or was fantastic , and ease of use ,, but just recently it turned off with a loud bang, then turned on , since then it turns its self off and back on at its own free will, up to 14 times an hr now ,so now I can't turn it on as it will just turn off , being house bound , im starting to feel lonely lol, but seriously dont buy as iv Sean others having same problem

Sound is terrible
Picture is amazing but the reverberation with the bass is super annoying. It’s supposedly an issue with all these sorts of tvs. Avoid.

Use only short, certified and/or active HDMI 2.1 8K 60hz leads/cables!
Buy only short, certified and/or active HDMI 2.1 8K 60hz leads/cables!There's plenty of people claiming the panel flashes or flickers. This is a trait common with low quality and/or overly lengthy display port & HMDI cables. 8K 60Hz or even 4K 120hz is a colossal amount of bandwidth to push. A valid 3m HDMI 2.1 8K 60Hz cable is not cheap and going beyond 3m without using an active cable is very risky - 3m or about will increase risk of data drop-out even with a £50 cable. Don't buy a £1,000+ TV and use a £10 cable 10m HDMI lead.Samsungs own very expensive high-end monitors come with their own 3ft DP cables included with a warning not to use anything else. People complained that their own "expensive" cable didn't work and sent the monitors back due to flashing, black-outs and flickering. Of course, if they just used what Samsung stated they should use...

Nice Picture, Poor Sound
I bought this TV direct from the manufacturer in its 55” guise.I mostly game or watch films, so the ability to run at 120hz, the dedicated “game mode”, and the 8K picture drew me in.The sound on it is very bass heavy, to the point a lot of trebles are faded out pretty much totally (not great for gaming). When using “game mode” you can’t alter your sound or picture settings, it’s simply “game mode” and that’s it. I ended up turning “game mode” off and tried tweaking the sound and picture settings. It got a bit better, but I was still left disappointed considering I thought this TV would be a game changer compared to my old one (cheap 4K Panasonic-badged Vestel)The picture itself is very good. There didn’t seem to be much fade between dark and light spots of the picture, so the darks were really good. My screen sometimes randomly went blank, and even splashed colours as if it was broken at one point. Again, not what I was expecting from what I thought was a premium TV.I only used the solar-cell remote. Not sure if it was because of that, or the TV itself, but there was noticeable lag when navigating menus.Comes with plenty of apps preinstalled, and wasn’t too hard to add more, but I personally just felt the user interface was a bit bland and slow to respond.Allowed mirroring from iPhone incredibly easily (not something I’d seen before). You could display 2 pictures together on the screen. E.g. one part of the screen showing a games console, the other part showing your phone. I don’t have a TV license so I’m unsure if the split screen would work with normal TV channels or not. The mirroring and multi-screen are cool features, but not sure how often they would be useful.Due to the screen playing up, poor sound and feeling of it being a lower quality item overall than I was expecting, I returned the TV for a full refund.

Screen keeps going off frequently
I bought this tv for my Xbox series X and my gaming PC laptop in the hope I could enjoy 8K gaming. Now my Xbox series X works perfectly on it. The graphics and pictures look beautiful in 4K@120 hz but unfortunately the same can not be said for PC gaming. I connected my PC laptop to it and when I put a game on the screen starts going off for a few seconds and on. I tried loads of different adapters and I eventually managed to play games in 4k@60hz with maximum graphics settings but I couldn’t set the V sync in my PC in order to activate the variable refresh rate but I then tried 8k@30hz and then all of a sudden I could not get game mode back on the next time a connected my PC, it would go no higher than 30hz refresh rate and no higher the Full HD. So I couldn’t play games in 8K, major disappointment. But then again it be the fact that my PC only had a GeForce RTX 3070 8gb and that is not strong enough for 8k gaming but even at times the PC connection was hit and miss but for next generation consoles this tv is perfect for them.
