Powerful and Effortless. Robust Wiring, great clamps.
I frequently have to rescue my daughter and give her a jump, and I don't like using my battery with jumper cables. I had already given her my old jumper box, so I needed a replacement. I decided to get this very powerful unit so that I could get many jumps for her Chrysler 200, or any other car or truck, multiple times without a charge.Unlike most other chargers this doesn't just start the car, it immediately and robustly starts the car, effortlessly. And I've jumped about half a dozen times with it, and it still isn't out of power. It also charged very quickly before my first use. I used a laptop charger, because when you use a high amp USB C source, it can charge very quickly indeed.I suppose I SHOULD charge it soon, before it stops being effective, but honestly, I don't think it has broken a sweat. I once hooked it up backwards because I was tired and distracted, and it didn't throw sparks or ruin anything. It sensed it was reverse polarity, and just refused to play. I saw my error, reversed the clamps, and the car started right up. Hopefully I didn't damage it, but it seems fine.I feel like this could probably start a large diesel truck or tractor, and is a nice piece of kit to carry around in case somebody needs help. And it's nice to be able to help, without tearing my battery covers off and scraping up my own terminals. Databyter

Great little jump starter now that I found a recharging solution.
This is an excellent little jump starter. It really works well, is light weight and small and has plenty of power to quickly jump start any car, no matter how dead. The only thing it didn't like was that if I leave it unplugged, the battery drains and I found it half charged every time I needed it. I only use it for emergencies and I need it ready to use. I know from prior experience that if I leave it plugged in all the time, its battery will degrade in a year or two. I found a great solution, a product on Amazon called Charge-O-Matic. It is a long term timer that I plug the NOCO boost into. I set it to come on once every 60 days for 12 hours. Now the jump starters is always fully charged and ready to go and should last for years with its lithium battery.

This unit outperforms my big heavy lead acid packFirst time I used it I started two cold gas V-8s and a cold dead 6.7 power stroke. Could not believe my eyes. Only bummer is it takes at least 4 hours to recharge…best if overnightI learned about it when my lead acid would not start my car it went dead and battery was frozen at -2F. Guy from AAA showed up with this thing and it started that frozen battery car. The car ran home on alternator (one hour) had to jump it next day still frozen. Needless to say I bought this the next day.Wish I had two

Complete waste of $300. Buyer beware.
Regrettably, despite reading the multitude of reviews and warnings, I elected to purchase this unit. It arrived and I promptly plugged it in to begin charging. It never, not for a second took a charge. After leaving it plugged in overnight, I acquiesced and figured I needed to buy the “boost” battery cable they STRONGLY recommended. This too, was a joke. Nothing. Nada. The unit would only continue to flash red indicating there was a “charging error”. Okay, so I then take the unit to my other SUV and follow other buyer’s recommendations that I charge the unit that way. I had hope… although the red “failure” light was still on.Did it charge via the cigarette lighter in my SUV? Nope, of course not. LOL Like hundreds of others on here, I fell for this company’s claims that the unit would work as expected. Kudos to their design team as they packaged it to appear as though it’s a state-of-the art device equipped to save you from being stranded. Unfortunately, they must have employed 2nd graders to engineer the components and 1st graders to test for quality control. I’ve seen Fisher-Price toys hold a charge better than this thing did. Absolutely abysmal. How this company can market such a colossal piece of crap to the world and fail to rectify its problematic components year over year is astonishing to me. Nevertheless, I fell for it. So, if you’re trying to make a good decision here- I wouldn’t recommend this product at all. Not even a little bit. Had I listened to other’s who’ve sustained the same fate, I would have my $300 back, and purchased a unit that does what it claims. This charger is not a charger. It’s a well-crafted casing with useless cables that the manufacturer cooked up to sell to unsuspecting buyers. Well- played NOCO, well-played indeed. I will never purchase anything this company is associated with again.
