Pepto-Bismol 5 Symptom Digestive Relief Medicine, Upset Stomach & Diarrhea Relief, 48 Chewable Tablets

I keep these Pebto-Bismol Chewables in my purse at school. I have terrible indigestion and take Nexium when I get up in the morning. However, there are the times when I do get nauseated during the day and need something quickly to quell the nausea. I will reach for my Pepto-Bismol chewables at this point as this is the most convenient form of taking the Pebto-Bismol.I find that it does help to calm my stomach for a time and I am able to go about my day, however, I often times need to take another two pills 30 minutes later. What I do find a little challenging is the plastic wrap surrounding the chewable. I have to use my teeth or a pair of scissors to get them out of the plastic. Not good when you are in a hurry to chew one. However, the convenience of the chewable is much more appealing than the Pepto-Bismol Caplets that I have to swallow. When you feel like you are going to be sick, the last thing you want to be doing is go looking for water and swallowing pills. Well, well, well....it turns out my Mother was right. If you eat all that Halloween candy, you will get sick. And if you're a grown woman, you will still be sick the next morning. Since I have no self control and can't resist handfuls of tiny Kit-Kats and tiny Butterfingers, I also have the chewable Pepto-Bismol tablets on standby. For me, breaking the tablets in half and swallowing each piece like a pill is just as effective as chewing them and I never have the chalky aftertaste to deal with. These are extremely good for traveling - they slip easily in a purse or carry on pocket and don't require repackaging for airport security.

Well we all know what Pepto is for so im sure no ones needs info on that.The reason i gave it 3 stars is because i click on a product that was for Cherry pepto and instead got regular. Now granted pepto works regardless of flavor. However, if i click on Cherry pepto to buy, thats what i should get. Cherry not regular.So like others have said in the comments, they also didnt get Cherry. They really shouldnt advertise Cherry if they not gonna give you Cherry.

Bought this for my husband who has constant tummy upsets/aches and has tried lots of remedies for it. He cannot take Rx meds and so has made the rounds of over the counters. He calls this the 'heavy artillery' and turns to it when the herbals don't work. Strangely enough, he prefers the tabs to the liquid of the same stuff. I used to take the liquid as a child and still do sometimes, it is a good, familiar product.

Took these on a cruise in May 2015 and had these as a back-up to the Dramamine pills and the oil. Had to take these pretty much every day as the pills were not completely effective for me. These of course do help with upset stomach etc. Glad I took these along, I probably would have been in more discomfort had I not. Reliable product!

Pepto Bismol saved my life [or at least my sick stomach] when I was a child visiting a friend's home. Ever since, I have been brand loyal. There have been times when I was forced to use another brand [store brand] but none of the others stack up to the real thing. This is very true of the chewables too. Pepto is easy to open, easy to use, tastes okay [the cherry tastes good to me] and gets the job done. Upset stomach has been my main concern, but it is also great for diarrhea. I have been using it since 1957 and always have some in the cabinet.

The flavor is okay. They are pretty chalky to chew up. I usually break them in half then swallow them with water. Otherwise they work fine for me. As good as the original formula.

Compact and individually packaged so that it will fit in your bag. Pepto Bismol has a long history of providing relief for upset stomach and mild diarrhea. Carrying around a bottle of Pepto Bismol and dispensing cup is just not practical (and messy). It is usually when you are not home and close to your over the counter medications that you need it anyways. Just make sure that you check the expiration date because it loses its effectiveness past the expiration date.
