Good size and thickness
1 mil is a good thickness for bagging medium-size produce. The capacity is not for oversized items like 3 or more cantaloupe or for 2 or more personal watermelons.

Extra strong, gusseted and very large vented bags
My headline basically states it all. I like these vented bags which has about 5 hole punched-sized holes running along both sides of the front and back surfaces of the bag. I would say that the bags are about 1 1/2 times larger than a 2 gallon-sized bag so they will hold a lot, especially with an 8” gusseted bottom.

great for produce and all sorts of other things
Got this to keep our produce fresher, but realized it's also good for wet items after being at the beach. Not too big for large things, but a nice way to have a draining and venting for when you need it. And this size box will last a long while, meaning when we need one, we'll have one.
