These shocks were slightly shorter than the original ones however, that was not a problem. I have an updated fiberglass body on mine. This made it more difficult to remove the front shocks. After removing the front cover, the shock replacement was easy. The back shocks were more difficult. The bottom nuts on the old one came off easy. However, the top nut is inside the tubing about 2" or so. Getting a wrench on the "Dome shaped nut" was impossible. I could not get the shock to loosen. I finally ended up cutting the top stud of the shock with a 4 1/2" grinder. Getting the rubber gromet, along with the dome shaped washer, and first nut was not bad. You can hold the nut with a 5/8" wrench. The top "JAM" nut was more of an issue to tighten. The only way I could finally get it was to cut a slot in the tubing to allow the wrench to turn more. The shocks definitely made a difference. Considering all the issue I had, I will still do it again. Very pleased with the shocks. The seem slightly larger in diameter, and quality seems good.

Great fit and amazing ride after installation, it should be noted that I replaced the rear leaf spring bushings as well. I suggest buying shocks and bushings for the front and back of your cart.

The shocks look exactly like their picture on amazon and fit my EZ-GO 2000 Freedom model golf cart perfectly. I had initially ordered their heavy-duty shocks and they were too short for my cart and, after returning them, I was hesitant to order the regular-duty ones for concern that they would also be too short. Both orders arrived within 24 hours of being placed. The hardest part of installation was accessing the top bolts to start the nuts used to secure them. I finally realized that the cardboard-like piece in my way could be detached from the hood and you could access the area easily.

I have a1999 ezgo cart. These fit good and improved the ride.

Shorter than originals. Still fit but maxed out with same brand, heavy duty 3-leaf springs. Probably would work better with stock leaf springs.

Golf cart leaned to one side. Original shocks were 20 years old.Replaced with these shocks and it took the lean out of the cart. The name brand shocks i took off would have cost double the price of these shocks.

Easy to install and made an incredible improvement to ride handling and cornering. Good value as well
