It does discolor, it does get deformed around power button but IT DOES PROTECT PHONE FROM FALLS. Used this case before with no issues. Can't find OtterBox cases for 9pro max anywhere else so this is your only option.

Encases my phone in protective rubber. I've dropped this thing from precarious situations and she's always come out undamaged on the other side.

fits the T-Mobile version of the oneplus 9 pro like a glove
I can't speak to any other SKUs of the phone, but it fits the T-Mobile model just fine.It *is* very glossy & as such, will get scratched, but it's better the case than your phone.

Definitely worth it
I was skeptical given some of the reviews mentioned the case not fitting the OnePlus 9 Pro 5G but I think that was just a unit getting mislabeled at the Amazon warehouse as this product fits my OnePlus 9 Pro 5G perfectly! I also saw some reviews mentioning that the case already had scratches on it and that's certainly possible as the packaging from OtterBox is open faced but my unit was free from any scratches. The buttons are really tactile / clicky and the port cutouts are well done. The case feels super sturdy and the larger lip of the case should definitely protect the phone's screen and the camera unit, highly recommend!

For the OnePlus 9 Pro
It's sturdy and adds a bit of thickness to the phone. Thankfully I haven't tested it's durability yet but it seems like the best option for protection. Because it's clear, I know eventual yellowing is inevitable, but for now it looks good. Kinda spendy, but what isn't these days?

First drop back glass shattered, can't believe how disappointed I am.
The back glass on my phone shattered the first time I dropped it. The case is extremely smooth and slippery so I can't help feeling that its 50/50 split on fault, 50 percent on me for dropping it and 50 percent on otterbox for making such a slippery case. If i still had the packaging I'd return it. Absolute worst experience I have ever had with an otterbox.

Great but discolors
It protects the phone well even after several drops. Only complaint is the brownish/yellowing on all edges.
