Towels by Doctor Joe Ambassador Hunter Green 16" x 28" Lint-Free Car Wash and Detailing Towel, Pack of 12

I needed gray color hand towels to go with our new color scheme & I found these. Yes, they're sold as detail towels, but I figure if they're the right color & size, they'll make good hand towels.The pros:+ Very low cost for 12 hand towels & the shipping is included.+ Fluffy, light weight & a nice size hand towel.+ Works great for hand towels!+ Both sides are the same & the edging is nearly invisible!The cons:- Not as gray as I wanted, but perhaps that's why it's called "charcoal" gray? Very dark color, almost has a purple tint? A lighter color gray would have been better for our color scheme.- Not entirely "lint free", but perhaps it takes several wash cycles?Overall, I like the quality of these towels. If they live up to being "lint free", I'll up my product rating. :)► Update - November 3, 2013:These are good quality towels & I'd purchase more. The one thing we don't like is the color, which is closer to purple than gray as we wanted. Because of this, I'm not raising the product rating.

These hand towels are nice weight and I got them for less than 50 cents each with free shipping. However, they are definitely not lint free even after washing. This may change after several washings. I would have given the product 5 stars if they had not made the lint-free claim.

I washed these as instructed and they really are fuzz/lint free. I bought these to use as sweat towels working outside in the summer. I have to work in a black suit or tux in the summer and didn't want towels that would leave fuzz all over my clothes, face, etc. which standard bath/hand towels do.I'm am very happy with these and the color has not faded either.

This is just another towel. For about $2 each you get a inexpensive towel to use. Inexpensive enough to throw away. Good for the car but nothing unique and nothing to brag about.

I bought these for my wife to use at the beauty shop. She loves them. They are thick, lush, and top quality. My only other comment is they are called lint-free, but when removed from the dryer, the filter has lots of trapped lint. Still fantastic towels!

These towels are one of my favorite care care item and several always travel with me on car trips. To keep lint free, I always wash them separately from other towels or cloths. Recently placed another order for the purple towels. .

We bought these based on the 2 previous reviews. They are horrible. Even after washing them 5 times they still leave alot of lint on the car. So much lint is left it looks like snow or ashes have fallen on the car. Also they do NOT soak up water. I am very unhappy and so glad that I got them on sale.

I read the two previous reviews of these towels and bought the black towels from Amazon on that basis. I washed them twice before using on the vehicle and the amount of lint left in the dryer filter was incredible both times. I also find the towels to be stiff rather than soft. Would not recommend this product to anyone.
