having issues Aug 2018 after using as back drive since april 2017
Was working smoothly until lately and I cant access one of the partitions, or repair it today. Have been using as a backup drive for a MBP since April 2017. I have 2 HD in my 2012 MBP. I partitioned Seagate Drive into 2 partitions, I backup data to one partition, the OSX with recovery to the other partition. I use Carbon Copy Cloner and highly recommend this excellent backup and cloning utility. Going to try and repartition and start all over after I reboot computer. I have drives much older that still work, I would not buy this Seagate again.
