Pressure Relief Valve flew off barely after a month
I had high hopes for this mobile pump. I was referred to purchase it by a close friend. I love the switch off feature once it achieves the pre-set pressure. Anyway on to the bad part: the pressure relief valve flew out just barely after a months use. I tried to screw it back on but it would not stay. I eventually at to glue it in place. So the pump still works but the pressure relief valve is flimsy. I had a lot of expectations from RING but they let me down. Apparently my friend had exactly the same problem I did. RING, kindly redesign the pressure relief valve to make it more sturdy

Works as advertised
I had it only one day and a guy from work had a flat. It took only a couple of minutes to inflate back to 35psi. Easy to use and compact for storage in my Jeep.Highly recommend this product!

12 month review. Good value and work well.
I’ve had this for over 12 months now and have used it regularly. It is easy to set the required pressure, and inflate to the right value. I’ve used it on the car and high pressure bike tyres. I have also bought an additional inflated for my daughter’s car and she has used hers without any problems. Good value product.

Pleased I bought it. Buy with your eyes open, but still recommended.
Disclaimer: I generally don't know what I'm doing. Honestly, I really don't. If you are in the same situation, hopefully this helps you and sets your mind at ease.Overall: If you have read other reviews, there are some flaws to the design. The screwing and unscrewing is prone to allowing some air to escape. Overall though? Its a very handy, useful addition to have in the car for that really rubbish moment. Buy it, try it, and leave it in the car for when you need it.Packaging and Postage: Standard Prime. So a robust box, delivered the next day and with the compressor packed safely inside.First Impressions: Good! Its well presented in a nice fabric tote bag/case. It doesn't look too complicated and is exactly as presented on Amazon. Only negative is that the instructions are picture only. Unless you look at it the other way, and that is that it's so easy to use - pictures can detail the process.Design: This is one of the major sticking points of many of the reviews here. The screw on/off of the valve means that at a point, there is air escaping. I would suggest that if you are *that* worried, increase it by 0.5psi. Honestly, the amount of air that will escape whilst unscrewing it will be minimal. The design isn't *that* bad!Other than that, decent clear controls. The torch is brilliant especially since I've just used it in the dark. The cable is nice and long and also the cable management (ie how to store it!) is decent. Both the power cable, which stores at the back, and the air hose store easily enough. The photos are after I used it.Use: Plug it into the 12v socket. Screw onto wheel. Change the required PSI by twiddling the knob. Press the power button. Watch the pressure rise. It really is easy. I have to admit, I didn't let it auto shut off, so I'm not sure whether that will be detrimental - I was watching it and I didn't want to wait.Longevity: I can't answer this yet, but I will keep a close eye on it since so many have raised concerns. At the moment, yes - it isn't the highest quality brushed aluminium switches. It isn't a hard wearing robust sturdy compressor. But it is one of the cheapest. And it is perfect for leaving in the car for the odd time you need it.

Loud, trembling, but practical and easy to use.
I used this tyre inflator for the first time today to pump up a tyre that clearly has a slow deflating puncture... just to get to the garage and have the tyre replaced. The inflator works just fine, intuitive no fuss setup. The star is lost because of a serie of minor issues I have with it.1- the power cable feels a bit fiddly and I would not swear on it lasting forever, also the 12V plug is quite stiff to insert (but this may not be a bad thing as it clicks firmly in place and keeps a good contact). Just keep in mind it needs quite a bit of force to insert and the cable has to be treated gently.2- it is noisy, not deafening, but certainly loud enough to disturb people around you and to want to keep a few meters distance from it while in use.3- it trembles like an unbalanced washing machine while in use, so on an uneven rigid terrain it will topple or worse travel... it will not get out of sight as it is clearly tethered to the tyre and car, but it may get damaged if it fell on a sharp surface, from a height to into a puddle of water or in snow. Keep that in mind and put it on a vibration absorbing surface when in use, like grass, compacted sand or soft soil...4- not sure the integrated lights are bright enough to use for anything else than illuminating the tyre you are working on, I would not rely on the emergency blinking light, SOS or any other feature to signal with it.5- construction is decent, but I would not drop it or abuse it, the plastic used for the case and controls is certainly not heavy duty. All in all, factored in the points above, I think this deserves 4 stars for the price and convenience as it just works and is not too slow, inflating a completely flat tyre in just a few minutes. I will update this review as soon as I get an idea of its durability.
