The perfect path or Driveway light
I must have tried at least 5 different types of solar path lights before ordering these. I absolutely love how they look (you can have two heights). Along my driveway. Easy to assemble, plant and then forget them! What sold me on these particular lights was the brightness of each light which had been a real problem for my long driveway. I had estimated needing 20 lights in total so that people backing down my long narrow driveway wouldn't run off into shrubbery or the fence. With the other lights I tried they just were not bright enough and although I loved the price point for the other lights I tried and sent back I would have had to use double my estimate. Finally after much thought and reading of reviews I ordered the Bobcat Solar Path Lights with 300 Lumens. To reduce my initial cost I settled for 3 packs of 4 lights each pack or 12 lights altogether, reasoning that if they worked I could always order more. To my utter delight 12 lights were all I needed! The lights have settings to be bright white, warm light or off. The setting I use which is the white light shines so well that more than 1/2 the driveway is light requiring only one side of the driveway to need the lighting. Guests have raved at how bright it makes the driveway at night and they feel much better about backing down the drive. They also love the way they look, which is beautiful. You don’t notice them between the briar bushes and they are tall enough to get full sun. I love them and wish I had bit the bullet on purchased them way sooner. Now I am looking for other ways I can use these and other Bobcat Solar lights around yard, they really are quite nice. Specifics: directions say to plant in full sun for 2 days to fully charged I did but honestly don’t think it was necessary for that length of time they charge super fast and the light stays on all night till it is fully daylight. The material is mostly plastic but durable. I do recommend that you plant the spike deeply then attach the rest of the light assembly to prevent bending or splitting the post while trying to shove it in the ground. I recommend these lights they are bright, good looking and really complement any landscaping!

Amazingly Bright
These were extremely expensive and I had certain reservations about purchasing. After having used them for 3 months now I can honestly say they were well worth the cost. These things put other solar-battery powered path lights in my neighborhood to shame - there is no comparison. The first time I charged them by placing just the lamp heads on a bench and facing them directly perpendicular to the sun all day. After installing them that same day, the ran ALL night long, about 12 hours as it was late November already. However, after the first day they only stayed lit for about 5 hours the next day, but that was only due to the early winter sun position being low in the southern sky already. There is just not enough direct sunlight in the winter to fully charge the lithium batteries yet due to the sun’s position low on the horizon relative to the solar panels on the lamps. Now that it is February and the sun is shifting back northward, I am getting about 8 hours of run time (6:00 pm to about 2:30 am). When I leave for work at 6:00 am I can just barely see some light coming from a few of the lights that get the most sun exposure during the day.I am confident once the summer time gets here and the sun is almost directly overhead during the day, these batteries will recharge fully and run all night long like they did on the first day I charged them by facing them directly to the sun. One thing to remember is you have to position the lamps in places that get unobstructed exposure to the sun to get maximum run times. This includes keeping them out of shadows of other plants in the yard. However, even on relatively cloudy days, you can still get several hours of run time when the sun first goes down. If the manufacturer could figure out a way to mount the solar panels on a tilting bracket that could be angled towards the sun, they could be used in many more places around the house that don’t get full sun exposure.I like the two piece poles and ease of installation. At first, I only used a half section of pole but later installed the second portion. The light definitely spreads farther with them mounted on two sections.I saw another reviewer disassemble one and mention the batteries could be serviced. That’s another positive as you have the ability to replace the batteries in a few years when they show signs of decreasing run times which they will surely do as all rechargeable batteries wear out over time.Overall, I am extremely pleased with the lights.

Great landscape lighting
Great lighting, very sturdy, and easy to place. We keep ours on warm light setting. Perfect for landscaping and around our pool area. We actually zip tied the lights we use around our pool to the aluminum fence posts so we don't have to worry about the weed eater damaging the lighting posts, which works great.

Good lighting and easy to install & use
Positives are: brightness works well along the steps up to our home; the 2 different staff heights; switch to choose between warm & cool light settings. Overall, I like these lights so far. Metal staffs instead of the plastic ones would be more durable. I'm also curious to see how long the plastic cover plate over the LEDs remain clear (i.e. how quickly they cloud). I realize that metal staffs and a glass cover plates would mean a more expensive product, however I think they could make for a compelling longer-lasting option.

Very bright and well-made
They are very bright, You can adjust the brightness to three steps, they have a huge solar collector, and in that they are brand new and the summer nights are relatively short, there’s plenty of power at the end of the night. I’m hoping they will last three years I estimated that each light will save about eight dollars in electricity over three years but our local rate is about $.15 per kilowatt hour and that’s higher in other parts of the country I know

Solar Lights look great, but one of the four lights is not working.
These lights look fabulous and give great light for a pathway around my home. My problem is that only 3 out of the 4 lights work. I have done all the trouble shooting and cannot make one light work? It is past the 30 day return timerame because I bought them in the winter and just put them out.
