Ok I’m a solar fanatic..love solar lights! I’ve gotten some duds and then some that are amazing. These cap post lights fall into the amazing category! They literally install in just minutes and fit perfectly on my 4x4 posts. The metal base installs with 2 screws on the post and the light (plastic) fits into the base with 2 screws. I let mine charge a few days in the off position while getting the fence completed and they worked like a champ!They come on at dark and last until dawn..longer than any of my other solar lights (in all fairness my other solar installed on timbers in picture are at least a year old). There are 2 light settings which allowed me to match the hue of those seen installed on the big timber posts.Mine are installed under the porch but it does get quite a bit of west sun in the evenings...love these!

After buying an initial product that didn’t work and was very cheaply made I returned it for this one that got great reviews it was easy to install it’s nice to have three light levels and it worked immediately. I still don’t like the fact that it’s plastic but it’s made a lot better than the other one I purchased

Working fine now but I had to go back to a job to help my customers out. You need to put these in the dark to know if they are on. And will they charge if they are turned off? Who knows. They seem to be made well, you can disassemble them if need be, they are screwd together not glued. The battery looks good. We will see how well they last.

I'm surprised these lights do so well despite not getting much direct sunlight throughout the day. They didn't fit over my wood fence posts, probably because it was rough cut and not store finished lumber, which is 3.5". My fence posts are over that measurement. However, it comes with mounting hardware that you place on the top of your post, and the light attached to that no problem. I like that I can select cool white, warm white, or a combination of cool & warm light together, and at the touch of a button. I only have used the warm white, but I could change it up at any time. These lights are well made and have a nice sized solar panel on the top.

Definitely more then expected. Very bright and last all night on a full charge. All three selections are bright and look very good. Easy to install but wish it was a different bracket due to the little gap at the bottom. Nothing a little silicone can’t fix though.

Used lights on fence post. Purchased 3 sets, or 6 lights. Only half of them are still operational and it's not been a year yet. Don't waste your money, I am going to look at other products that are more reliable

The light is good but since they don't fit on a 4x4 post as advertisedI am using them on the pavement as a path light

I’ve used similar products in the past and these are the best by far. Very bright. Easy to install.
