The Bad - getting this thing installed is difficult but doable. getting the hard plastic pieces apart before even starting install is very tough. Best to unsnap one long side then work from either end. Take it slow and don't be impatient - you don't wan't to snap off one of the 6 clip points. It seems to be built from some extremely tough grade of plastic - I have snapped of clips/clasps on other cases but not on this. Don't forget to remove film from interior round window before slipping phone in. Then carefully snap on other hard plastic face. But wait - there's more! Then take it apart. Then install it again - this to get best fit! Very important!The Good Slipping the rubber cushion layer on is no problem. The mute switch has a little flap to cover in case you can't set it through the rubber. Power/lightning flap will protect the power slot fine. Volume and main off/on buttons work fine and are permanently covered wit a tactile bump for control by touch no problem. The rubber enclosure is great with good 'sticky" feel and phone will not slip on a smooth surface.This is a very sturdy yet attractive case - includes built-in screen protector - the color suits me fine since I need a VISIBLE case as I depend upon my phone to pair with my hearing aids. My older flat black case made it easy to misplace my phone. Oh the horror stories! Water resistant, not anything for diving or snorkeling. FOGEEK offers accessories like a waterproof bag but that's nothing I need that info comes printed on the packing pouch when it arrives. As a machinist back in the day, I admire the extremely precise fit and look forward to dropping and splashing my phone with complete confidence it will march on. A really good deal at this price.Extra after using for a few hours...the flap over the mute switch covers it normally but I just successfully switched mute off and on THROUGH the flap - very nice.

Really high quality case! Seriously, I am impressed! I use my phone while running, hiking, biking and more. This case gives me full confidence that my phone will be protected if it drops. I paid $50 at AT&T for a similar case and it wasn't as nice as this one. And this one fits my iPhone 5S better than the more expensive one. Color is vibrant and exactly like pic shows. I am very happy with this purchase!!!

This case has proven it's durability again and again! I bought my mother in law a new iphone, because she dropped her old one on a daily basis, and of course it broke. She is the kind of person that can't live without her phone (as most of us are), but she drops that thing a daily. It falls more in one day than most of us drop it in a month! Since we bought her this phone and immediately ordered this case for it, it's still working great. She gets the apps messed up and the grandkids have to straighten it up, but it still works, and still gets dropped routinely, every single day. She's had this phone and case for 6 months now. I think it's the longest she's had a phone that still works correctly! Definitely a durable case.

A decent case for the price, for my iphone 5s. I like the rubber outer shell for the grip and protection over the secured plastic case. The cutout areas are good and the power button, volume, etc. work great with the case on. Not a hard press at all like the otterbox commuter I had on it. Home button cutout is good and the built in screen protector has not hampered access at all. I really like the wine/rose color. Happy with the purchase.

The products came on time and was packaged well. The product? Well, let's just say the old adage "You get what you pay for." applies to these cases. The plastic casing was SO difficult to open! I needed to get two paper clips to pry open the sides. Once you've clicked it to close/lock, good-luck on opening it again...it's a production! I like to clean my phone every other day and taking it our of this case is very tedious. The plastic may look stylish but it doesn't last. The 1st case only lasted for 2 months, I'm on the other case now. Save your money and invest on a sturdier case. Lesson learned!

I used to use Otterbox Defenders but found them too bulky, though I loved that I could pour a glass of water on top of them and they'd be fine (I'm clutzy). I only briefly tried a LifeProof case, I found it made my phone phoneproof as well, since it was hard to access the ports, hard to talk into, etc...) Since this was the first non-refurbished phone I'd had in a while I thought I'd go back to something stronger. I agree with what other people said about the rubber part being loose and everything feeling flimsy, I've only had mine for seven months and every time I have to open the plastic part to separate the case, I think it might be the last time. Unfortunately, I need to open it fairly frequently because I've found any tiny drop of water gets sucked up through the edge of the hole under the home button and becomes a sticky patch between the screen and the protector, activating the whole screen area as though it were being touched. It's summer now, it's hot, I sweat, this really isn't workable. There's also a ton of tiny scuffs and scratches on the screen cover and dust getting up under it has always been an issue. I'm going back to a case that works with a tempered glass sticker rather than a plastic sheet. This price is just too good to be true.

This was a replacement for our iPhone 5S. Our other protector just wore out after a couple years and I was searching for a reasonable replacement--- and this one was more than reasonable! It came in very neat packaging---not a big box---and as the phone was inserted it became clear this was a substantial product. The screen protector was solid and the plastic/jelly container provides confidence. I would buy this again if needed..no doubt

Opened it thought it was super thin and flimsy but when I put the cover on I was surprised at how durable it really is. It covers the entire phone with a screen protector. Only problem is having to press down harder on the touch screen. Overall, For 8 bucks you won’t anything better then this!
