Exact Replacement
This is an exact OEM replacement for my GE Profile refrigerator's ice maker, which had started leaking. Installation is a snap, even with the most minimal DIY skills (there are YouTube videos that give step-by-step instructions if you need them). The change-out only takes about 5-10 minutes (two screws and two plug-style electrical connectors). So far, so good. The new ice maker is working fine (fingers crossed, knock on wood).

Easy to install
This OEM ice maker is very easy to install and it fixed mine leaking water and freezing the ice bucket in the compartment and needing a hair dryer to get it removed

Works Great, Easy Install
This product replaced a leaky ice maker in the fridge. The replacement part was identical to the old part and installation was very easy. After the cool-down period, the new product began producing ice and has been working great for several months now.

Easy Peasy Upgrade for the Refrigerator
Ice maker in our 7 year old GE refrigerator stopped working periodically for no good reason. Temp in both compartments set and maintained with no problem, water supply not clogged. It just stopped working. Min service charge for a repairman around here is $125. Ordered this after checking U-tube for an install video and found a great one. This part is actually an updated ice maker and it works much better than the one that came in the refrigerator. Literally took 5 minutes to unpack and install. I highly recommend this seller, too, the part came as advertised through Prime within 2 days. I wish we would have updated it years ago.
