Baby Aspen, Beach Bums Set of 3 Bloomers, Pink/Blue/Green, 0-6 Months

So gorgeous - I bought for my little one but would make an excellent gift also.

Complement nicely the Beach Buddies bibs. Not like the old rubber pants, but neither are the diapers nowadays. Cheerful and colorful designs.

These are adorable. . . . but that’s where it ends. First of all, they are CRAZY EXPENSIVE for a “Made in China” item that probably cost less than a buck to make all three. These are not quality made. I’m not sure how long they will last, but I can’t guess more than a few washings. I really like items like this, when you can find them at a really good price. . . but. . . the current Amazon price is just outrageous.

The Baby Aspen Oceanic Diaper Covers are my first experience with any Baby Aspen Product, and overall they're pretty nice. Sadly, I was expecting a product that was really designed to be worn while active on the beach, and these aren't it.Fortunately, the seersucker material the diaper covers are made of is incredibly nice, and the three sea creature designs are incredibly cute. My wife, in particular, likes the baby octopus, and I have to say I do too. But I just can't see using these on the beach if our little one is going to be getting wet at all.Additionally, they're not terribly functional for us, as we cloth diaper, and we have quite a few cute cloth diapers if the goal of the diaper cover is more to have our little girl look cute while she's in only her diaper (which, don't get me wrong, she certainly does!)Overall, the product is incredibly cute, and would make a really nice gift, especially for a southern outing. They're just not exactly what we were looking for!

As the colors are more "girl-oriented," the Baby Aspen Beach Bums Set of 3 Bloomers will make a wonderful baby gift for a new baby girl. Packaged adorably in its own box, the three diaper covers can be viewed from both sides so that the front and back of the little elastic pants can be scrutinized without the need to open the packaging. Great concept for a gift!The three diaper covers are just that--decorative diaper covers with a beach theme--this doesn't mean that these are meant to be worn to the beach or submerged in water--they are merely decorated with beach-themed creatures. There is no plastic liner. These are light--purely ornamental with a little gathered leg like an old-fashioned bloomer. The fabric is a cotton seersucker--a pale green seersucker stripe is the foundation for the lavender octopus, the pink features a turquoise crab and the blue is adorned with a pink fish. Most of the creatures are adorned with little bows and curled eyelashes, so in terms of presentation, the set might appeal to mothers of little girls--although with the blue packaging and white cord trim it could be a hit with both. I tend to lean towards the girl team on this one, though . . .As far as construction--these will last through outgrowing. Those handy with a needle might want to tack down the crab claws:)Bottom line? The Baby Aspen Beach Bums Bloomer set will make an adorable gift for a shower or first baby. They are so adorable!!!

These covers are adorable. My wife spent at least 10 minutes oohing and ahhing over their adorableness. The 3D aquatic animals seem fairly delicate, so we're washing them inside out.
