Mattel Games Whac-a-Mole Molehill Mania Game

Every time this game came on a commercial my son said that he wanted it...Santa came through. It is a cute concept & the moles go in the mallets easily, however, they are tough to get out of the mallets for little hands. Also you need to "whac the hill" several times before all of the moles come out for you to "whac". Overall it's an "Okay" toy...probably would not purchase again.

My almost 4 year old is crazy about this game. I liked that the instructions offered different ways you can play the game so that you can choose the game that best suites your child's ability level. You have to play it on the floor not a table. And having all those pieces with preschool age is risky because of the chances of losing pieces.

My son got this as a present for his birthday about six months ago and has only played with it a few times--the game play only takes a few seconds and the cleanup/resetting takes a few minutes and some dexterity, so there's not much payoff for a little guy. It's also just not that much fun; like any kid he's more than happy to whack things with a mallet, but the moles don't go in all that smoothly and the mallets are pretty flimsy.Additionally, the pieces go everywhere and are constantly underfoot, since they roll under all the furniture and then come back out again when a different toy is being looked for--I wouldn't mind this for a really fun or interesting toy (this is also the case with his Lincoln Logs, which are totally worth it) but it's not worth it for this. I'm hoping we've had it for long enough that I can tactfully slip it out of the house sometime soon...

I hate moles, so whack away! Haven't been able to see my grand daughter playing with it, but she loves to hammer things so she should enjoy it

I was looking for a different whack a mole game...this one is fine..just not what I was looking for. My own fault, should have read more info on it.

good toy

Got this as a gag gift for a neighbor that was battling moles in the yard! He loved it and so did his daughter! They said they enjoy playing it!

I bought this for my 7 year old for Christmas. It's so fun to play. He even makes up his own rules when we play it. It's a good bonding time.

Kids love bashing the hammers down and collecting the little moles. It's a really quick and easy game that fills up anything from 5 mins to 30 mins, and is lots of fun.

Great my lil man just love it! All family enjoy play with the new game, it's really good, my son all ways talking about the new games,,,,,

We bought this for the boys to play with at Christmas and especially with Grandpa . Very competative but gave us all a great laugh. Just the thing to work off some turkey!
