Great case for the $$$!!
Bought this case for a simple server. Installed 1 hdd, 1 optical drive, micro ATX motherboard, and power supply. The case arrived well packaged with no damage. I had no trouble fitting a standard ATX power supply. The fan vent on the top of the case lined up perfectly with the PS fan. I did have to flip over the fan grill on the power supply so it the lid would fit on the case. It was about a millimeter or so too tall but once turned over and screwed back on it fight just fine and did not obstruct the fan operation one bit. Not a big deal. I didn't find the case overly tight as others have mentioned, took my time and installed the components (I haven't built a computer in years). The standard intel CPU cooler (bought on Amazon - Intel i3/i5/i7 CPU Cooling Fan (Socket LGA 1155) Part#E97378) fit inside the case just fine. I was worried it might be too tall as the 2u height does not leave a lot of extra room, but no problem at all. I also added two quiet 80mm fans to the front of the case along with the PS fan and the CPU fan. I found getting the screwdriver into the confined spaces to add the 80mm front fans the most difficult part of the build. No issues with heat so far with these fans running and it's super quiet (wife doesn't complain = approved!). I do agree with another poster that the blue LED light on the front is ridiculously bright - it is. When the PC is asleep the LED blinks and it looks like a beacon going off in the house at night. Not a big deal but I was surprised how bright it was. All in all quite happy with this case! If I do another build would definitely get another.****UPDATE Oct 2016****Case is still going strong, no issues at all. I've since added a second hdd and just the single fan for cooling, so far no heat trouble after about a week of nonstop use. Still very happy with this case!

Good and cheap HTPC case ; some effort needed
This was exactly what I wanted for my media center. You can remove the handles and you get a nice black HTPC.Pros :- Very compact case, perfect to fit under the amplifier in your TV stand. That's just the same size as my Cambridge Amplifier !- Accepts standard (cheap & quiet) power supplies- Black & Blue, fits well with black blu-ray player and other black & blue equipment- Can be loaded with 2x 5.25 slots for Blu-Ray & Screen, 2 hard drives + an SSD and a micro-ATX motherboard. It's impossible to do a smaller case for all of these.Cons :- The blue LED is way too bright (this can be fixed with a resistor)- Everything is really packed. If you forget something, you need to remove everything and some screws are very hard to access ! But I guess that's the price to pay for a compact case. Also, everything just fitted after some effort to optimize the cables, so I have the impression that there are PCI cards or motherboards that won't fit well.- There are holes for the power supply but not for the CPU. I had to drill holes in front of the CPU because it was overheating ! I guess there is no standard position for CPUs on motherboards, so they couldn't pre-drill holes, but be aware that your CPU cooler shall not be too high or it won't cool well (or even not fit).- Low profile PCI cards, but that may not be a problem since it's becoming quite common now.

Replace the included fans...
Other than needing stronger fans this is the perfect project/ rack mount case. Mine is now a security/WiFi server, and the size is Perfect for what I needed it to do.The ONLY issue was the included fans are simply not strong enough to flow enough air to cool a basic 45 watt (AMD A10) CPU.With the included fans I idled at 54-55*c, and loaded up to 76-77*c.I added a pair of 40mm "Server grade" fans, and brought my temps. down by 15-17*c, and I am Very happy with the case. The construction is solid, the installed stand offs are all exactly where you would need them to be, and a standard "off the shelf" atx power supply fits in flawlessly.I almost forgot... Where the fans mount is set up in a unique way. IF you install any drives directly behind the fans you will have to remove the drives to access the included air filter.I eliminated this issue by using a drive 3 bay drive rack that includes a fan and filter (2x51/2" to 3x31/4" drive bay adapter)EverCool Dual 5.25 in. Drive Bay to Triple 3.5 in. HDD Cooling BoxWith this "mod" I have no problem opening the case, and blowing the filter clean from the inside (as needed).Bottom line... For the money you can not buy a better box. Even double the cost, and I don't think you can do any better.

Great 2U Budget Case For mATX builds
Plenty of room and uses a standard mATX power supply. The only drawback is that you can only mount two 3.5" hard drives (one in each bracket) for mATX systems due to motherboard interference. iATX systems can use four hard drives. I used a BPU-230HD-BLACK in the 5.25" bay for a three drive RAID system and removed the 3.5" brackets all together, then used that space for some very quiet Noctua case fans and cable management.Only drawbacks are pretty minor:1) not a lot of space for cable management2) the front panel cables (USB, power, etc) are really really long, but that is better than too short.3) fan filter is held in place by six screws and the provided screws are phillips only. I had to pull the motherboard to remove them in order to install case fans. I replaced with 6/32 screws that had hex nut sides as well as phillips to make filter cleaning easierAll in all a GREAT case at a bargain price.
