3D Full Cover Tempered Glass Screen Protector for BlackBerry Priv - Black

When I bought this screen protector, I was looking for something a bit more robust and protective than a simple film covering. It's not as thick as you would imagine it to be for as strong as it is, but it fits on the glass PERFECTLY. It's a hard shell, not a film, but, once properly installed, you cannot tell it is there!! The instructions that come with this screen protector are a little lacking, but it's basically common sense. Just clean your screen using a cloth and the wipes provided, remove the bottom film of the screen protector, align the bottom portion with the bottom of the screen, and slowly place the screen protector onto the rest of the screen - it's a hard shell, so it doesn't bend like film - this is why you have to make sure it is aligned properly and then sort of just plop it on. Just take your time and there should be no issue, but it took me all of two minutes to install, which I was shocked by. I didn't use the guides at all (mainly b/c there were no clear instructions on how to do so and I didn't find the guides necessary). I didn't have to smooth out any bubbles at all afterwards. The people who are saying it has cracked may have misaligned the protector and then maybe pressed too hard when putting on? You don't need to press too firmly to get it to adhere to the screen b/c it adheres itself to the outer edges of the screen, and if you are using a hard case - which I would recommend doing for extra protection - the case will cover all the edges and thus prevent them from snagging on anything that might try to pull it off anyway, even though this is highly unlikely even without a case as long as the screen protector is aligned correctly. The only place mine isn't perfectly aligned is in the top right corner - it's off by maybe a millimeter, which you can't see b/c of my outer hard case. I have tested to see how much force it would take to snag it off and it seems like it would take A LOT of force at that exact one tiny spot for it to come off! I haven't tried to take it off and put it back on though b/c it seems like that wouldn't be a good idea, considering it's intended design and purpose - I highly doubt it was designed to be installed multiple times. Plus, seems like it would be more trouble than it's worth since I have no visible or functional issue with it being so slightly misaligned.I have had this screen protector and the Seidio® SURFACE with Metal Kickstand Case and Belt-Clip Holster Combo on my Priv for a several weeks now and have had ZERO issues - it has been dropped a few times, in and out of my holster constantly, and almost constantly used between the hours of 8am and 12am, due to the nature of my job - IT field technician. The ONLY negative thing I can say about this screen protector is that it is NOT smudge/fingerprint proof as the ad says it is - NOTHING is smudge/fingerprint proof. However, with one wipe on the pant leg, it looks brand new again! I have no issues seeing the screen - again - you can't even tell the screen protector is there AT ALL. In fact, I think it somehow makes the screen clearer, even with my sunglasses on.I would GREATLY recommend this screen protector, as well as the Seidio® SURFACE with Metal Kickstand Case and Belt-Clip Holster Combo for your BlackBerry Priv! (yes, the case I use allows the keyboard to still slide out with no issues.) I chose the Seidio case b/c it was the only decent hard shell I could find with a holster, but because the screen protector is so thin and fits perfectly over the glass, it seems this screen protector would work with ANY case.

WOW this blew my mind. Have cracked and had to replace 2 Google Nexus 6 phones over the last two years... Same spot in the house and same anger of why did i drop it!!!!! So bought the priv due to issues with the pixel phones all being recalled and first and foremost it is a awesome phone. But with the curved screen and the blackberry cover covering the corners but still exposing the screen to that rare drop i was worried. Bought this product and am really pleased. Easy instillation wiped it down and dropped it from bottom to top smoothed it out and it was a perfect fit and so easy to install. Have always hated putting on plastic or film screen protectors it is a pain and the bubbles are inevitable. This one had none of that and was snug and no bubbles. Secondly it feels better than the phone screen and is as advertised pretty smudge free. Have no issues with any one or two input finger swipes and am pretty pleased. Know if i drop it hard enough this phone will end up like the others but feel now at least maybe i have another level of protection for my phone and the hope i wont have to replace it due to a cracked screen.

Would have given it 0 stars if I could. Came very well packaged, looked promising. However, there is only "stickiness" or the adhesive on the black portions of the screen. So when I got it put on by my service provider, I thought he applied it incorrectly due to dust getting under the screen protector and due to the bottom left corner coming undone and I could hear it stick and then unstick when I tapped on the corner for a button. The screen protector eventually came completely off on the corner and I had to snap it back done. I was genuinely concerned I was going to break it. I then took it off and reapplied the second protector that came in the package. It lasted longer than the first but not by long and soon I could hear the left bottom and right bottom portion of the screen resticking to the screen when I pressed a button and then unstick right away. This too was followed by the glass protector coming off again. I'm at the point where I'm going to find another screen protector and use a film-like one instead of a tempered glass one unless I can find a glass protector that has adhesive on the actual screen as well, not just the tiny parts along the edges that hardly hold the protector on.

Purchased these covers to deal with a cracked screen on my Blackberry Priv after it fell on asphalt. There are two in the package. I Installed one and saved the other for later. The cover did as I hoped--provided a smooth, well-functioning, un-cracked surface over the top of my cracked screen. After a month and a half, the cover developed a hairline crack, which got worse, and now (2 months after installing the first one), I have peeled it off and am replacing it with the second. (For those concerned by the fact that the adhesive is only on the outer rim of the cover--that is a good thing, because it means you can peel it off when/if it cracks.) So they do not last forever, at least for this purpose. I wish they lasted longer. But for purposes of extending the life of my phone, even if they only last a couple of months, I'd rather buy a package of these a few times a year than a whole new phone!
