Jensen JiPS-270i Universal iPad/iPod/iPhone Docking Speaker Station with Custom App, Aux Line-in and Remote

This is a great product. It has a 30 pin connector which works with the older iPhones and iPads. The speakers really boost the sound, but you need to have the sound turned up all the way on your device first. The remote works well. I also use the dock with the iPad mini, regular iPad and iPhone with the newer lightning connector; however, you will need to purchase an adaptor. When I used the Lightning adaptor, the speakers did not work, so I purchased a 3.5 mm audio cable. See photo below -- it works great. The arms holding the device are sturdy, very adjustable and lock in place. I use this on my kitchen counter to have Internet access, check for mail and messages, use iTunes radio, and watch Netflix and Hulu. The connection to the docking station needs to snap in place, so most cases will need to be removed before placing the device in this holder.

For me it was perfect. I am 67 and I don't need all the bells and whistles and I wanted something I could figure out. This gives great sound, was easy to use and filled all my needs perfectly. Keeps my ipad charged, and I can play music and check my email while it sits in this on the kitchen counter while still listening to my music. Great!

This didn't work for my daughters Ipad Mini and I was not able to return it, because I shop too early for xmas. Oh well...that's my fault. If you have an Ipad or Ipad mimi this will not work.

This is just OK. I had one heck of a time getting my iPad to "connect" for charging and for sound. I have found that if you remove the iPad for any reason the power goes off and you must turn it back on to get it to work again. Also you can only do that through the Remote.

No where near as loud as I expected. Will probable get something else.

I purchased this to use with an old ipad 2 whose speaker no longer worked. The sound works great hooked up to this ipad dock . I also use it with my ipad mini but just use an adaptor piece to change it to the lightning charger. The sound quality is not superb but I am just basically looking for it to play some background music and to hear the sound when I watch vidoes. The only negative is that it doesn't hold different positions really well. When I move it to another position, over time it sort of slips down and has to be readjusted

I bought this for my mother-in-law and it was just the ticket. The sound quality is good and her device is always charged now when she want to use it outside of the stand.Be sure you have the version of iPad that this device supports. Apple changed the connector on the bottom with the introduction of the most recent version.Edit 12/20/2015 For reasons unknown, the remote has stopped working. It's not the battery. I cannot find any mention of this product on the Jensen web site when I search for it by model number.

I originally bought this for my Mom's iPad, which the description stated that it would fit her model. We ended keeping and my husband uses it for his iPad. The sound is good, and we use it for movies and music, and very stable.
