ArmaLaser P11/P40 Kel-Tec Small Block Laser Sight, Black

I have been a gun owner for 40 years. I am a mechanic by trade. Yep your local FEMALE airplane grease monkey. Just a little back ground.I have been wanting something 9mm concealable for sometime. I have 9's and didn't want to buy another caliber. I bought the KelTek P-11. Of course it must have a laser sight but Crimson Trace does not make one for the P-11, plus their stuff is very expensive. I Googled sights for this gun and found ArmLaser. I read all the reviews and decided that most were pleased and the ones that weren't didn't understand what they wanted or how to install it. I bought it.It took about a 1hr to install as I did it by the book and took my time. If I was to do it again, less than 15 minutes.It is solid and does not move as some reported. It took about 15 minutes to get the final adjustment at the range in the "weaver stance" Then pulling it from my concealed holster and shooting holding the gun centered at the belt level I hit 5 different 6 inch dinger plates 15-30 feet away. Reloaded and emptied the gun. Out of 20 I missed 2 (and not by much). I actually found that it was more accurate that way than holding the gun at arms length and not so vulnerable to be taken "away from me". The laser is very bright and its easy to "find" your target.This is mostly for P-11 owners. You already know the gun has an awful trigger pull. Now that I have put 100 rds through it and hold it this way... yea Mr. Bad Guy... bring it on!Now for 2 items on setting the sight initially. These items are in the manual. I just want you to pay real good attention. On setting the laser sights to the guns sights, use a wall or some target at lease 10 feet away. The parallax ( laser below the gun sights) will through you off on anything closer. When ArmLaser says "tweak" they mean 1/8 of a turn!! Its would be very easy to go past the end of the travel and strip the threads out of the plastic housing as the total end to end is about 2 turns.Good Hunting!

Great fit and works well. Love it. I have my pistol for self protection and have the sight set for approx 20' but in reality if I ever have to use it most sefl defense incidents are within 7' to 20' so it should be good to go. Any deviation within 20' would be less thatn an inch high. The instructions were straight forward and it fit perfectly w. no wobble. Love it and recommend it to anyone w. a KT P11/40.

Two words. It sucks!!!! A few rounds through the chamber and you have to readjust. constantly. Just tell your attacker, "Wait, I gotta sight in" and you will be okay......

This laser the best. I had some trouble installing it( operator error) and called about it, well the President of the Co. called me back to see if he could help. Now that is customer service. Once I got it intalled(Duh!) the laser is a wonderful item, works great,fit like a glove,adjustment is easy. I am going to buy the laser for my other pistols!!!

It goes on easily, there's no real expertise required. It makes the gun slightly more bulky but it points well and doesn't move around because it's bolted to the frame. The instructions included are helpful and walk you through step by step including troubleshooting.

I've had this laser for about a year and have had to replace the battery 4 times!Upon close inspection. there is a MAJOR design flaw: there is no wall separating the batteries which touch one another, causing quick depletion of power and/or short circuit.I went to the company's website and was asked to pay almost the same price as a new one for an "upgrade" (around $80).Update:Met a lady sales rep for this company at a gunshow. Was told to email her so that she would give me a discount for a new product. No response after a few emails!Avoid.

Seriously...do not hesitate. Everything is super...right down to the packaging, the including info, the pictures to help you install it...and the unit itself matches the gun so nicely! This is a must with such small handguns used for SD and in a pinch...the sites on the P11 leave much to be desired and this fills the roll admirably!!

put it on my carry pistol. lasted for about 4 mags, and the laser was faint. I thought it was due to batteries. Replaced the batteries, didnt work. Cleaned the lenses and thee battery contacts. Nothing.Looks good, and acted well for first couple of shots, not worth the 90 bucks, and not reliable enough to use on my carry gun.
