Patriot Turtle HydroFlow 1200 GPH Submersible In Pond Pump

I got this pump and a new filter with a UV light for my goldfish pond. It has a good flow for my waterfall and my green pond was clear in about 2 hours. It probably won't clog because it can suck up some small pieces of whatever falls into the pond.

This was a replacement pump which was the same model as one installed about 3 years ago. That one had a problem of running for about 10 minutes and then shutting off by itself even though it was timed for 8 hours dailyService was good delivery in just a few days.

Quite impressed by this pump. I have gone through many pumps. I only had luck with a tetra model that resisted clogging. This model works as good ! I have used this pump this Michigan summer. Let's see how it survives the upcoming winter.

This pump moves a lot of water, rarely clogs, and is built better than a lot of it’s competitors. Highly recommended for a hassle free pump experience in a pond!

So far has stood up to it's quality. We will see if it holds up longer then our other pond pumps we ordered. Love the design and the fact that it should not clog.

Very powerful.. Doesn't take a lot of room in the pond. does a great job of keeping my pond clear.

Using for a waterfall with 6 foot of lift. According to their website this pump at 6 ft of head pressure is spec'd to deliver about 800 - 900 gallons per hour. At 6 foot of head pressure this pump is putting out only about 300 - 400 gallons per hour. I disconnected the hose at the top of the waterfall and measured flow produced in 1 minute; 6 gallons per minute. Pump is putting out less than 50% of what the manufacturer states.
