Dansko Women's Kami Grey/Lavender Suede Platform Sandal

These are my favorite all day sandals. I now have 4 pair in different colors. They are more comfortable than many other dansko styles that I have purchased. If they would find a way to cover the toe and keep the same foot bed I would wear them all year.

I have the Dansko Katy flip flops in black in my regular 39 and tried the Kami in grey/lavendar. The Kami fits exactly the same as the Katy with the same great arch support and cushioned footbed. I wish Dansko would use this footbed on more styles because it feels amazing even after hours of walking and holds up well. I wear a 39 in Dansko clogs, dress shoes, and sandals, normally wear a US 8.5 in all other shoes. I love that, unlike the Katy flip flop, these don't have any strap that goes between the toes. The Katy does have a large toe thong that takes my feet some time to get used to each season. My Katy flip flops still look brand new, even after traveling with them on vacation and wearing them all last summer, so I thought the Kami would be a great addition for my summer trip to Disney world this year. I was sadly disappointed with how unattractive these sandals look on my feet. As a <30yo female, I appreciate all of the stylish sandals Dansko comes out with each year, but this is just not one of them. I'm not sure if it's how wide the straps are, the colors, or the suede. Maybe dansko should try out this style in nappa leather in more fashionable colors (neutrals like nude, gray/pewter, black, camel or even some of the colors they used for the Priya--rust orange, wine, royal blue) with narrower straps? I own lots of different Danskos (Pro XP, Tandy, Tamara, Lulu, Ona, Katy, Priya), but this was the first time I've been really disappointed in the styling. I love my Katy flip flops and just hope Dansko someday revamps this style with a more fashionable straps/design that suits younger women too.

My 5th pair of these sandals! I wear them to play golf and love them. Easy to clean with a brush in the shower.... Have even put one pair in the dishwasher once.

Very comfortable fit. Length is about a 1/4" too short in my opinion.
