Rane RH-50 - Over Ear Wired High-Fidelity Headphones for Mobile / Studio Recording, Streaming and Podcast Production, with 1/4 Inch Adapter

Over the years i have gone through lots of different headphones,i am using Allen and heath xone as a comparison ,the x one are very heavy after a while and squeeze your ears,they dont cancel the noise very well ,but have a great sound...The new headphones for the price are great,they cancel out background noise really well, good sounding ,bass ,mids and highs sound great ,they are also not too heavy, so u can forget they are on your head and they dont squeeze your ears too much, ,the leads long which is good,if u need to move around ,for the money ,they are great ,i would highly recommend for djing and production,if you are on a budget .

They are great, my daughter and I are both hard of hearing and these are awesome, as clear with these on as with any sound bar or IEM's.

Brilliant sounding value for your money, long lead with a quality 3.5 to 1/4” adapter gold plated nice finish, all in all excellent headphones for £25 quid. Well made 👍

Great for the price

The worst decision ever after 2 weeks they’re not working . Never again

I bought these for my DJ school students to use, we needed something inexpensive, durable, comfortable, that don’t fold (as students always get folding headphones in a mess when trying to quickly take them on and off or get tangled in long hair), one-sided DJ-style cable and had an ok clear sound.These Rane cans meet all those criteria. I was surprised to see a cheap Rane product like these (who are best known for very high quality DJ mixers and decks). I suspect these are a generic brand made just with the Rane logo on (the design appears identical to some others on the market at this price) but that’s ok, they sound good enough for the price but the treble is a little muffled compared to more expensive headphones but the bass is fairly punchy (good for DJ monitoring). The cable is a little long for what I needed but we’re not tripping over it, the length would be ok for hifi listening but way too long for listening to just an iPod in your pocket. There is just enough left-right twist movement where the cups meet the headband to allow a DJ to hold them on one ear pressed against their shoulder and certainly enough for comfortable wear on the head with one cup tucked behind the ear. 5 stars for ‘noise cancellation’ as they block out external sound like any good over the ear headphones, less than 5 for sound quality and bass only because I’m spoiled by knowing how clear and punchy expensive headphones can sound but for this price they are good for DJing and casual listening. I like the clean, classic functional design. The screw on jack adaptor was a nice surprise as was the fact that the plug is at 90 degree angle, again both good for DJing. I’d recommend these to anyone who needs basic DJ headphones.
