Christmas Hit!!!
My kids and I got this for the hubs/dad for Christmas this year. He works in the commercial door repair business every single day and for the last 5yrs the only bag we could find that could remotely hold all the tools he needs on a daily basis was the stupid already very heavy veto pro pack xl. However their bags only have 56 pockets, a single shoulder strap or one giant handle in the center to carry it and it causes him not only physical pain carrying 75-80pds daily to multiple jobs on one shoulder or hand, caused him to have to have a second tool bag for the other half of his tools that didn’t fit in the veto bag, and caused him to have to make multiple trips to and from his work truck depending on what he needed on each job, parts, and 5ft ladder. He disliked the veto because of the weight of the bag alone, the pockets were just awkward for all his screwdrivers, wrenches, etc, he would lose smaller things like wire caps, drill bits, small screwdrivers, small allen wrenches, etc. We have been looking for something like this for the last two years and the only other bag that would hold enough and was either on wheels with a long enough handle for his 6’1 height and wasn’t going to force us to sell a kidney on the black market to be able to afford it was the new veto pro tech xl bag and no way did he want to basically pay $500 for the same exact annoying, awkward, no organization bag twice the price because gasp….it came on wheels. My husband immediately got his veto bag out of his work truck and started loading up the CLC backpack tool bag and even with multiple sets of screwdrivers, multiple sets of wrenches, files, multiple pliers, multiple allen wrenches, wire cutters, meter tester, and we were shocked that he not only couldn’t possibly fill every pocket but he also has specific pockets for his hammers, sledge hammers, and a Milwaukee impact driver m18 and he loved the little organizer that was also able to fit multiple drill bits, extensions, and the fact he also has pockets for all his concrete, countersink, fluted bits, etc and he can easily identify the ones he needs and not have to dig through a no man’s land pocket for 10mins or keep them all in the original cases separately in the truck and have to make multiple trips to and from his truck. So far he loves it and it is massively noticeably lighter with far more tools than the veto bag. I will post pics of it loaded and the weight in about a week once he is done with figuring out that even with every tool from the veto bag all have their own pockets, he gets to actually use it and can give an honest view of pros and cons, and whether it can withstand the daily use in the commercial door repair industry. I can honestly say I have been going to work with him just to get out of the house and spend quality time together and I help him on every job for the last 10yrs and I have never ever seen his tool bag organized like it is now with the CLC backpack tool bag and each tool has it’s own specific spot and he still hasn’t filled every pocket in the CLC bag. I will post pics and another review in a couple weeks so he can use it and he starts figuring out what other tools he can add to the bag, his honest pros and cons, and especially the durability of the bag in the commercial door repair industry going to multiple jobs every day and if the bag is worth the investment.

Good pack, great value
I looked at all the youtube reviews of tool backpacks, and selected this one. I am pleased with it! It holds a good quantity of remodeling tools, and I can throw it over my shoulder to make it easier to carry in/out of customers' houses. I have found that it is durable, and offers good organization options. Three things that I wish it had (but doesn't): 1) a zippered pouch for safety glasses (to protect them, and keep them handy) 2) a "holster" or external loop to hold a drill/driver 3) a few "molle-style" attachment points. Of course, no pack can be perfect for everyone, and this one is good-enough for me. I recommend you try it. If you don't like it, it can be for your secondary-tools, at this modest price.

Quality and function
Was bought as a replacement for the same tool bag from 4 -5 years ago that finally fell apart. This is a quality product and not a cheap Chinese knockoff.

Too many impractical Pockets
I have been looking at various tool back packs for some time to upgrade by current CLC 44 pocket bag. For the 44 pocket I had to make my own wrench pouch with backing board which worked well but the back pack overall was to cramped for the tools I need to carry. This new 75 pouch bag looked great in photos with the inclusion of wrench holders and was the selling point for me. On receiving this back pack I was impressed with the construction and all the options that it offered but soon became disappointed when loading my tools. There were enough wrench slots for my set 3/4 down to 5/16 set and sufficient slots for my screw drivers. There are too many pockets with flaps and not enough blade type slots, or elastic slots that are too high for handles to stay inside the bag. To overcome this I tucked the flaps into the pockets and put my nut drivers, hex wrenches, adjustable wrenches & slip joint pliers into these. The regular pliers, side cutters and wire strippers all fit into the non flapped pockets.I then found that I had used all the big pockets so that full rolls of insulation tape & thread seal went one roll per pocket in the others. The included plastic compartment box is very handy and replaced a couple of the previous candy tins I had been using for wire nuts & ferrules. The big let down though is that the bag does not have any type of feet or protection on the bottom. The old 44 pouch pack had some feet in each corner and helped to protect the base of the bag. I think this is a major oversight of the manufacturer. Obviously they are trying to keep the price of the back pack at a reasonable level to stay competitive. I have been looking around and may add these myself as I have done in the past. There is no doubt that this bag is not is cramped as the old one and I have managed to load it to make it work for me. There are a lot of small pouches unused along with the elasticized slots and the little one inch deep slots are totally impractical for me.

Pretty darn good work bag
Love the work bag but after using it for 3-4 months now and not over loading it the clips on the backside failed and broke while I was walking in a customers house, would love to find replacement clips if that was possible
