Hard to beat for the price.The video quality is what you should expect for a small cheap lens, but it is plenty good enough - at least as good as my cell phone.The menus are intuitive enough and everything works as advertised.The IR only really works at a very short distance, like to the end of the hood, but even with them turned off the video is not completely terrible if on well lit streets.The ball mount works much better than the other design you will find in cameras that look identical.

The camera takes a fair quality video for the price, but . . .The camera's highest resolution (1080FHD) does not permit reading the tag (license plate) on a car (20 feet?) ahead of you at a stop light from a recorded video.The camera controls are not very intuitive, and the instructions are of little benefit.The camera frequently loses the date and time settings.When not in use, the camera constantly turns itself on until the battery is completely drained, even with gravity sensor, motion sensor, and parking guard turned off.Internal batteries drain very quickly, but take a long time to charge.The camera does not always recognize that it is connected to a power source.The instructions, such as they are, were obviously not written or proof read by someone completely familiar with the English language.NOTE : The REC button is called the OK key and ok key (both upper and lower case) in the instructions.

Doesn't work. Faulty software and terrible hardware.The problems with this product are just too many to list. So I returned the one that didn't. I was then about to rebuy the product when I saw THIS product. It was much cheaper - in fact, this is the cheapest dash cam that is on amazon. It's dirt cheap. So I figured, hey, this product is probably about the same cheap quality as the other two I purchased. They're both coming form China. Share the same hacked software. What difference would a few dollars make, right?Wrong. Big time.Believe it or not, this product is far, far inferior to the other cheap dash cam that I had previously purchased. While one of the other dash cam had a hardware fault with the microSD insert, this product has the same problem and more. Much, much more. Almost everything in every way is wrong with it.I'd guess that buying this product runs you a 80-90% risk of receiving a product that doesn't work or breaks in the first 6 months.I'd guess that buying the other product I purchased for 60-80% more, runs you a 50% risk of receiving a product that doesn't work or breaks.So there you have your two evils to choose from.If you want quality, you are going to have to pay for it.

Worked great for 3 months then started going on and off repeatedly so I got a better power cord for it and it works great again. The power cord sucks and the directions suck but with a good power cord and play around with it to learn what buttons do what and you can't beat it for the price.

Fantastic item for the money. Easy to install. Everything needed is included. I bought a large memory card thinking I would need but this camera copies over old footage.

I have only had this camera for a month and already it has been a bad investment. The camera itself works great, but the charging cord does not make a good connection and the camera will shut off randomly when driving, and I have to pull over to mess around with the charging cord at the camera to get it to turn back on. Sometimes the camera will show its charging (even though it has constant power) but won't turn on. The charging cord does not make a good enough connection to the camera to keep it running, and when it looses connection it is very difficult to find that sweet spot to turn it back on. Every bump I hit, the cord loses connection with the camera and it shuts off again.
