Vello BG-N15 Battery Grip for Nikon D750

I purchased this in leu of the expensive Nikon. It looks and feels very well made. It fits the camera very good, and all the controls work. It does add a lot of weight to the camera (no surprise here), and I decided to keep it off except for those times/situations that will require less walking, and more vertical shooting. It fits well in my small hands, and all the controls are in easy reach. If you hike and do landscapes, as I do, you probably don't need this, but if you do lots of portraits, this is the accessory for you. Since I bought it, I'm not returning it, because it's so well made, and "you never know...".

This is my second Vello product and I highly recommend them as a quality alternative to the brand camera grip. The BG-N15 fits snugly to the D750 continuing it's contours very well. While doesn't feel quite as good in the hand as the materials used to make the camera, it doesn't feel out of place or cheap at all. The shutter release does seem a hair sensitive, but I'll take that over it being less responsive. It holds up well when using on a tripod, I didn't feel any abnormal flexing or movement.

My personal five years experience with Vello Battery grip for my Nikon D 7100 is excellent, so I'm buying another one for my new Nikon D750. Every thing works very fine and construction quality is good as well.

The ae-af button,the search dial thing doesn't work when paired with my d750.

Great product! I had the Vello brand grip on my Sony A7 camera and I loved the features, look and feel of it so I decided to get Vello grip for my Nikon. I'm very pleased with it. No cons!

An OEM version of this product was a little more than what I was willing to pay. Did my research and found this reviewed from a reputable camera dealer. Have tried both battery packs EN-EL15 and the alkaline took a few tries to get the alkaline to recognize no further issues. Have not tried all the other features fully. With so many choices I would recommend this product.

I got this for my Nikon D750, The are-af button does not and the battery is losing connection. I should have spent my money on the Nikon one.

I was a little skeptical but now pleasantly surprised. It works, is well built, feels solid not cheap, and costs far less than the Nikon model.
