Naztech Mini Speaker
A decent little portable speaker that can be plugged into any device that has a 3.5mm slot. The sound is small but serviceable. Comes with a Mini-USB cable charger. Because of the tiny size, it is easy to carry around.Although the box said '4 hours', took me the whole night to fully charge the unit. I had a USB adapter, so I was able to charge it using an outlet(otherwise you'll need to charge it using your laptop or a similar device).

Defective item
The instruction manual of the device indicates that the device needs to be charged before using it, however the box where the device came to me says "Charged and Ready To Go". I charged the device for 7 hours and the red LED that was supposed to get blue when the device is fully charged never changed color. The device did not work also when I play music on my Smartphone and laptop.I hope this does not happen to others.Regards,Alberto

Okay but........
Okay if used strictly as a stand alone portable speaker. The LED does not operate as the directions state. The buttons are difficult to operate and just don't work that well. The SD card slot is a great idea but without the ability to shuffle the music it is kind of useless. Every time you turn the device off it starts back up at the beginning of your song list. I put about 200 songs on a 2GB card and never get past the first 10 - 20 songs depending on how long I listen to it. Also if you plug it into a MP3 player or your PC with a SD card installed it will play both the card and your MP3 player at the same time, so you better have a case for your SD card wherever you take it.

Won't play WMA files, tin-can sound
I own two Satechi SD Mini Portable Speakers and they are nearly perfect: compact, long battery life, and incredible sound. This music ball has a similar design, but falls far short of the Satechi. It feels flimsy; the sound quality is poor with no base and a slight echo; and despite the description, it will not play WMA files. It's fine for a pre-teen, but you'd be better off spending $10 extra for the Satechi.

Save your money!
This is crap. It never worked. According to the directions with it after charging the red light should turn blue, it's been hooked up for months now and has never turned blue. I connected it to every device I own that it is compatible with and no sound no anything. I missed the return date or it would be gone.

Jim's review
Mini boom could use a longer connecting wire, also more variety for charging. It has the opportunity to be a little larger in size.

Save your Money, poor sound quality no volume controts
This is crap. Less powerful than a tablet or smart phone speaker system. Not super impressed with no control for base, treble or volume. You can play it loudly (volume controlled by smart phone or tablet), but it still sound like the old transistor radio.
