Light Weight and Easy to Handle
I'm very pleased with this panel; it's so much more convenient than stiff silicon-substrate panels: substantially lighter in weight and easier to handle. (Note that while they are flexible, they are not so pliant that they can be rolled or folded.) These particular panels feature a backside junction box which might preclude flat mounting in some applications, but for my use, I prefer to have the plastic junction box and cables shaded from the sunlight and that's one reason why I chose the KingSolar panel over others. I use mine to charge three Optima deep-cell batteries through a PWM charge controller (Mohoo 20A 12V 24V Auto Switch LCD Intelligent Solar Panel Battery Regulator Charge Controller Overload Protection Temperature Compensation) in my van and it's been working so well that I will be purchasing another panel and controller for my truck's dual battery setup. Originally I had intended to mount the panel on the van's roof but I'm glad that I left it unmounted as this permits me to situate it in direct sunlight, regardless of my van's position. This has also made it easier to blow away any dust and accumulated debris.

Keep this out of the sun for longer life
I thought that this was a "solar panel" but, judging by the flaking of the surface coating and output current dropping to milli-amperes, it appears that this may be best-suited for indoor use.Hmmmm???What is the best indoor use for a panel that seems to be unsuited for outdoor application?I haven't figured out what that use might be.... Meat cutting board? Counter protector?I need to shop for a replacement but, being sadder but wiser, I know that I need to shop for a solar panel that can stand up to solar radiation better than this one.It gets "Two Stars" since it did work for about three years before going gunnysacks.

Flexibility for camping!
Works great with our GoalZero 400. We took this on our back country camping trip so my husband would have power for his CPAP and the battery was kept charged up easily when needed. we just moved it around the campsites as needed rather than having it permanently mounted to something - which we may do at some point.

cheap connector ??
The connector did not work from the first try, when it snapped in -- one side pushed out and one side pushed in. The second time I unplugged it and plugged it back in, it broke! I have the exact same connectors on another king solar panel (its fine) and all the wires which I plug/unplug and Ive had no problems with any other connectors. Very disappointed.

If you buy this panel, NOTE WELL.. ...
If you buy this panel, NOTE WELL........the wiring is mounted BELOW the panel NOT on top. This makes it difficult to mount in some situations. It did not work for be because of this issue, and I had to return it.

Pretty great panels except the edges usually come bent
Pretty great panels except the edges usually come bent, but that's how it goes with items shipped from China, otherwise good stuff.

Excellent, picks up solar rays even when the sun isn't shining really brightly. Use this when camping and it works well. I made a farm out of 1/2" pvc pipe that works well.
