The media could not be loaded.  I have become a fan of this make up range recently. From their strawberry scented lip products, face palettes and now this double ended matte lip/gloss combo. This set also comes with a liquid eyeshadow and highlighter duo.For the last few days I have used this matte lip on its own to see how it lasts. I have found the when applying the product it is shiny and almost looks like a gloss itself. When it dries however it is there for the day.....pucker up boys, no chance of transfer here. It even passes the mask test. I only had it on 30minutes when I had to run into a shop, and I dreaded the disaster that would be my lips after removing.....it didn’t budge, not one bit.The colour is unreal to, very pigmented. The lip brush tip can be used in a liner style to give that plumped lip effect. I then proceeded to try the gloss end over the matte lip today. Like most glosses when the hair is down and the wind is blowing, your going to become a sticky mess. Hair up and it honestly transforms the matte lip to the most perfect nude I have ever seen! Again it passed the mask test, when the gloss had dried the mask could not budge it.I am highly impressed, just a little disappointed it doesn’t smell as good as the bigger brands, the smell is faint but not overwhelming. The only thing I would mark down on is the bristles of the gloss, if you accidentally put in the wrong way the bristles become spread and the gloss can not be applied evenly.I have now tried the liquid eyeshadow and found that it was quick and easy to apply. It was pigmented and looks as if you have made an effort when it takes seconds. You could make it a Smokey eye using normal shadows and have this as the featured centre. The liquid highlighter I would be a little dubious about using over make up as it tends to take off whatever make up your have applied. You could use a gentle finger and place on areas such as nose/collar bone etc. 4*

This product has given me mixed feelings. There are some aspects I really like and some I’m not sold on.Firstly the eyeshadow duo is a little fiddly. When I first tried this, I globed it on and it did not create a flattering look. The highlighter is so watery, it actually went from my lid straight into my eye! Another reviewer (W. King) has the technique spot on when she says “I put a little on in the middle and rubbed it over my lids.” Don’t apply this from the wand to your lid!!! Just dab a little onto the middle of your lid and Finish the application with your finger. If you don’t glob it on, the finished look is subtle and flattering.The lipstick duo is flattering on my fair skin. The matte lipstick is darker than I was expecting and I feel like the light gloss would have suited a lighter coloured lipstick. Saying that, they do look good on and last a long time. It’s actually hard to get this off your lips. The matte formula is drying but if worn with the gloss, it counteracts it. It has a sort of subtle berry flavour that you barely notice and it doesn’t linger on the lips.The applicator for these two products is the same. I like the foam applicator wands but not the brush wands. Usually a brush applicator gives a more luxurious feel but I feel like this misses the mark. It doesn’t stay perfect for long (see picture of the same lip product from another set) and, like I said before, the highlighter in the eye duo is too watery for a brush.This set does create some versatility as you can create loads of different looks based on how you apply the shadow, highlighter, lipstick & gloss together!The red pop art packaging makes this feel more high end and the tubes have corresponding labelling as well. These would make great gifts or stocking stuffersAt £18.87 at the time of review, I’d say it’s a bit overpriced for what you get. These are just a bit too fiddly for me at such a high price..Overall I think the product itself is good but the applicators let it down.

The media could not be loaded.  The lipstick is pigmented enough and dries quickly then add the lip gloss and the duration and quality is decent considering the price .. Instead the eyeshadow dries quickly and lasts long enough ... the highlighter is instead watery and too low in density or coverage, so I don't like the latter.

This cosmetic set is acceptable. I ordered the Pink Grey colour scheme. This consists of an eye colour & highlighter duo and a lip colour and gloss duo, both of which are presented in their own quite basic cardboard packaging.The eye duo is a double ended stick which consists of a liquid eye colour which is light grey and has a lovely colour, pigmentation and shimmer to it, the finish is good and lasts well. The glow colour is a pearly white with a shimmer to it and is used as a highlighter. Overall there is only about 3 grams of each which is not that much at all, but you only need a tiny amount and a little goes a long way.The lip duo is a double ended stick which consists of a red lip tint which is also surprisingly nice, it is matt red which has a lovely colour and pigmentation to it, the finish is good and lasts well. The gloss is lighter and slightly more subtle but with the gloss finish it stands out just the same. Doesn't last as well and needs some reapplication although I am not a big fan of gloss. Same as the eye colour, there is only about 3 grams of each, given the nature of dipping and using an applicator in all of the tiny bottles I don't suppose that when you get towards there will be some product stuck to the bottles that you can't reach and use.The price of this set was just over £11 (at the time of ordering) which is good value but makes this quite budget make up, the average quality isn't bad at all and for the price it was actually better than expected.
