The contrast on the actual poster is way lower than in the picture displayed here. It's high quality and looks good if you're shining a light right on it, I guess. Most of the time it just looks like a totally black void with Japanese words on it though. I'd grab one of the other, less black BR posters, personally.

I bought this poster as a birthday gift for a friend (he absolutely loves Battle Royale). I was there when he opened the package, and I have to say that this poster is HUGE! It really is the size of a movie poster that you would see hanging up in movie theaters. He told me that he had to dedicate a whole wall to it, since it "overpowered" the rest of the posters he has with his enormous size. Also, the description for this poster is dead on. You see how the white letters on top are very close to the edge (almost cut-off looking, but isn't)??? That's how it is going to look when you get it. The material isn't some cheap paper either. It's pretty legit and pretty sturdy for poster paper. The shipping didn't take all that long. It was suppose to come around May 15, but instead came May 8. Not bad, I say.Overall, great size (if you like big posters), great material, and I would probably buy something like this again!

I love the book and movie and everyone always compliments the poster when they see. Definitely a classic movie that everyone should see.
