Effective
Does work very well for PCOS. It can shorten your cycle to as little as 21 days if you take too much, in which case you just reduce your dose. Taste is similar to black pepper. This bag will last forever!

Very fresh and sealed well in airtight envelope.
Arrived quickly, tastes ok though not something to serve for dessert. Too early to say how well it works.

Hard to grind
Mr Coffee and Ninja blender as well as Ninja food processor totally failed to grind these. I tried for minutes long at a time. Took over an hour to blend 10 tablespoons. Found a new grinder on Amazon and it was able to get the job done super fast, quiet, and efficient.I am hoping based on others reviews this will help in conjuction with prascend for my horse. Fingers crossed now that we have it blended we see good results!

Prevent Cushings
My 19 year old Clyde/TB has been on Chasteberry more than on than off for 2-3 years as preventative measure. His first 12 years (before he came to me) were pretty rough and he had EPM and was malnourished. His coat is gorgeous, he is very healthy, and the happiest he’s been since arriving in my care.He gets a partially homemade diet, and I will continue adding .5 - 1 teaspoons daily.

really helps with cushing-oid shedding
I was a bit skeptic to use this supplement after seeing multiple write ups with mixing chasteberry with prascend. My medium pony (700lbs.) takes 1/2 pill. But there was no sign that his long grizzly bear like coat would shed this year. since it has not the past few. I always ended up shaving him a few times a year. I fed just 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon to him once a day along with the precend. And he shed out!!! It was a long process and used shedding blade almost daily. But I dont have to shave him. Since he is all shed out, I decided to stop using it see what happens. He can be a picky eater but ate it fine.

Using these for my cushings/PPID mare
Since reading that chaste berries are supposed to be helpful in regulating certain hormonal imbalances and that they can be very beneficial for horses with PPID, aka equine cushings, I decided to try these out for my 29 year old German riding pony mare. I have been giving her one tablespoon mixed in with her feed daily and after a few weeks of eating the berries she started to shed out her winter coat almost normally which hasn't happened in years. Her mood also became more balanced and she seems less plagued by irritability. The berries also smell very pleasant and fresh. Definitely a thumbs up from here!
