Precision Products TCT25 Tow Behind and Spot Sprayer, 12-Volt, 25-Gallon, White

I have 1½ acres of grass with a lot of weeds that are difficult to kill with a spot sprayer. The large capacity and boom sprayers on the TCT25 made the job easy. The capacity is perfect for my field and the even coverage from the boom sprayer enabled me to get all the broadleaf weeds with one tankful of 2-4-D. Compared to other sprayers with similar capacity this one is priced reasonably and does a great job. Highly recommend.

The assembly instructions were not great (I'm WJ Handy Dad, not some novice!) and I had to re-do several steps because bolts and pieces were interchangeable and could be installed backward or upside down and the instructions weren't clear. Once I got everything put together I then wasted some time installing a junction wire on my mower from the battery to the back of the mower, then I realized that the connection on the sprayer was long enough to reach the front of my mower (LOL). I finally filled it with product and went to spraying the farm. It sprayed consistently and without leaks. Switching to the hose function isn't very difficult. I wish the hose was a LOT longer (I am going to see if I can splice in some extra hose) but it nonetheless adds some functionality to be able to stand next to the sprayer and use the wand.

Missing hardware parts. Instructions aren't readable. I’m not sure if the printer was running out of ink or not when my set was being printed. Packaging was surprising as in in the product was put into a box and that’s it. It showed up falling apart.

I had to chuckle when the TCT25 arrived. I had assumed that the consistent review comments about the miserable packaging for shipping were an exaggeration. They weren't. The packaging was pathetic. I can't believe the company hasn't taken steps to protect the product better during shipping.But the basic unit is sturdy and well designed. It took about an hour to assemble.It is also easy to use. The cable that attaches to the mower battery has an in-line on/off switch so you don't have to dismount to turn the sprayer off. However, when you switch it off, it takes 5 or 10 seconds to bleed the pressure from the lines, so it's not a crisp on/off transition which would have been nice in terms of repositioning the sprayer between passes or to avoid spraying nearby ornamental plantings.My main gripe is that the nozzles that are included with the unit stink. They spray horizontally and cover a swath nearly 25 feet across. But the spray is very uneven, heavy toward the center and skimpy toward the edges. This also tends to over-spray to nearby plants.I've ordered some replacement nozzles from TeeJet company, but figuring out which ones to order was a pain. None of the local stores that carry TeeJet nozzles had the ones that I need. I went with the TeeJet 110 degree Even Spray nozzle. They haven't arrived yet, so I can't be sure yet that these are the best ones for a well-defined, even spray pattern. But the ones that came with the unit are miserable. And when I called the company to ask for advice or information, the person on the phone was no help whatsoever. No idea where to get different nozzles or what size or pattern to get.Would I recommend this unit? For the price, yes. But expect to have to do some tinkering to make it a really first rate setup.

Easy to put together, solid and good value for the price. Works great and like the pressure value to regulate spray. This is a keeper.

I have only used this once, but it seemed to work well. I have an acre and a half and it makes the job of spraying much faster. Has good coverage and seems to be built well. Yes, as some of the other reviews, the packaging good be better when shipped, but mine had no damage or missing parts.

I would have given this a 5 star when I filled it with water to test for watertight there were no leaks. When I turned on the pump water was spaying out of ever fitting or the Handel of the sprayer, the pump fittings, the 4 way tee, all hose clamps and the broadcast sprayer fittings. I had to take the entire system apart and liberally apply Teflon tape to all threaded fittings and reassemble. When I turned the pump on this time there were no leaks the only part that leaked was the sprayer took it all apart and cleaned all part. Sprayer still leaked bought a better spayer and now I'm good to go.I am an unpaid employee of this company and many other company's which pi--es me off. I am really tired of having to fix every thing I buy.BY THE WAY THE LID TO THE TANK LEAKS AND WILL NOT SEAL!!!

I got this online and saved some bucks over getting something pre-assembled locally. Its a pretty straight forward setup, however, BE SURE you have a hitch kit on your mower or utility vehicle for this. No real complaints about the setup, I do recall the product came in a box that looked like it was severely beaten. I was positive I would have to return it but, after opening the box, everything was there, it was a minor miracle. Ok, so other than the condition of the box, the effort to put this together is medium. Ladies, grab a friend, guys, grab two, cause your going to have to think a bit to get this assembled correctly...assuming you want it done the first go around. One con is that the sprayers do not 'retract', so, storing it takes some planning. One could, and I may, mod it so that they will retract but, out of the box, its a fixed wing craft. Wheels are kind of cheap, not much holding them on, but, lets remember this is a sprayer, not something for the kids to ride. Anyway, mine worked right off, great coverage, decent with regard to uniformity of the spray, I like it. You mileage may vary of course.
