Bayer Contour Next Blood Glucose Test Strips, 200 Count

After many many years of using a Contour testing device, I've recently found it much more difficult to find Contour test strips for the device at a decent price. Local pharmacies in stand-alone stores in in big box stores are selling them around here for nearly $2/Contour strip. Online also gotten expensive. So found a good deal on a Contour Next Bluetooth device and switching to Next. So I'm able to get test strips under $0.65/strip again.I've seen a lot of questions about whether the original Contour and Contour Next strips are interchangeable between the devices. The answer is NO. I've added a picture of the two types. Contour on top, Contour Next on bottom. Besides the difference of the printing of Contour Next, you'll notice on the right ends where the strips go into the tester, the contact pad layouts are different. The two test devices have different internal electronics. The contact pad of one strip will not work in the other test device. Hope that helps and highlights the difference.

I got genuine, or what appears to be genuine Contour Next test strips. I got a 4 pack and I received my package on May 11th 2020, and one box the expiration date is June 30, 2020. I will have to switch from first in first out use, and use these first before finishing my open bottle because of the near stale date. The next box is September of 2020. Puts a bit of a sour taste in my mouth for online cheaper experiences vs Wal-Mart or local pickup. Product rotation and QA is a bit to be desired. Will not purchase from METROMED again. Just my opinion.

Contour Next test strips along with Contour Next EZ meter are the most accurate meter you can buy. I have tested various meters. I have tested these meters using a very large number of strips and averaged the results for different times to the day. All of the meters have about the same long term average. However, the contour Next EZ meter and strips have the best repeatability (change for the same blood drop). The values are usually within 1 or 2. Also the individual EZ reading had a much lower deviation from the long term average than the other meters. This company always provides strips that have dates at least a year away.

Not Bayer brand. Say "Contour Next" on strips. Also say," For use by Medicare/Medicaid Beneficiaries ONLY" on the box. Not sure where they obtained these strips?

Indeed an outstanding deal - .39 per strip, cheaper than even ContourNext's subscription delivery, by almost .10 per strip, and they are OEM ContourNext Ascensia strips. And free delivery. I doubt you'll find better pricing anywhere, and if you use several strips per day, it adds up. Mine are good until 30 Nov 2021, more than a year out, so plenty of time to use, and they work perfectly. Highly recommended.

Great, name-brand strips for my Contour Next at about 25-30% the price of local pharmacies. I have been using this source for at least 2 years. No bad experiences yet.

Good quality and reasonable prices my great grandmother in law have diabetes so I have to send some of these every couple of months, she live in a third world country and these things can't be found up there.

Product arrived in perfect condition. Along with fast delivery. The test strips was exactly what I needed for the Contour Next EZ, I also purchased. The experation date was over year out. - I've been using test strips for a week with no problems.
