Vedette 136 Megane Open Bust Bodysuit w/Lace Trim.

I'm a curvy girl with thick hips and big boobs. Rather than attempt the foolish notion of becoming outrageously sexy by way of diet an exercise, I decided to swaddle my midsection in something tight and work the figure. I've tried shapers with zippers, waist nippers, body suits, the "Magic Vest" that was mediocre at best. I've had bodysuits with legs, without legs, without straps, you name it. I lay awake at night wondering how many vacations I could have taken with money wasted on other bodysuits.So let me say this: buy this bodysuit. Don't bother with any others. Nothing is as (reasonably) comfortable as this and gives you the POW factor that this shaper does. You look tight and flat-stomached, from right under your bust to down below your belly pooch. The squeezing support of the latex lining will make you sweat, but this is not a bad thing. It also doesn't bend or crease badly like products with boning in them.After wearing this for months at my walking job, i noticed all my jeans fit much looser in the waist. My waist was literally reshaped. Let me also say that, since we're all wearing this stuff to look sexier, this garment got some major male attention, as it doesn't smoosh the booty and it gives your girls a nice lift. All in all, it makes you look taller, feel taller, tighter and slimmer, and shrinks that waist way down.You also can't eat as much, so don't be surprised if you find yourself ordering a smaller one in a few months with daily use. Just sayin'.My only word of caution is to wash them on the COLD GENTLE CYCLE. I carelessly ruined two of these by washing them too hot or putting them in the dryer. Just let 'em hang. Don't be like me.The closures will show under clingy fabric unless you wear a slip of some kind underneath. It might seem like a lot of clothes but it's worth it. Just think of Mad Men and channel Joan Holloway. AND WASH ON COLD GENTLE CYCLE.

I am 5'8 and 140lbs After 3 kids and going from a size 2 - 9...I am not exactly where I need be. I am a little self conscience about wearing a tight tank or tee on hot days without throwing on a light jacket. My love handles or muffin top, seems to overflow around the pants line and there's nothing delicious about that.In any case...maybe I should just lose the weight, but hey, that takes time, so for now I need a serious nip/tuck without the knife and this body shaper definitely did just that.I have spent a lot of money in the past on other lines that were way over priced and didn't compress everything that I needed. Now, everyone is different and I read a lot of reviews regarding this product, and the truth is, is the results really are determined on your body type. This product is more designed for a woman who are slightly over weight and wishes to trim down the waist line or a woman who just had a baby and desires the bottom part of her stomach to be flat.Anything, way over (and I don't mean any offense) I honestly don't feel its comfortable nor made to squish in all of the extra skin and fat that builds up around the waist line. I received an extra small, which I have a long back, so the bra size or measurement under the breast is a 32, but the waist line is out of control. It has a latch at the bottom crotch area, which is great, because the corsette area clips all the way up and I could see that being a pain to unlatch.I can now wear a tank or a tee without feeling as though my rolls are about to overflow like bread baking in the oven. Very happy and well with the buy.

I'm exceedingly short waisted - my rib cage ends below (inside) my hip bones. Because of this, the left side of my rib cage is buckled and mildly deformed. I wore a stretchy, form-fitting dress to a family member's wedding and needed something with firm support to help smooth my ribs so the dress didn't look so awful as it did without support. I found the Body Shaper by Vedette 136 and thought it might work. It did. My size was right between a small and medium. I went with the medium and it worked just fine. The only problem I had was that - because I'm so short waisted - I couldn't fasten the top 4 hooks on the body shaper (I had to leave them open so that the body shaper made room for my bust). If I tried to fasten the top hooks, the front seem would buckle like little rolling hills all the way down and look just as bad as my un-supported ribs did when wearing the dress. One other thing to note: I wore the body shaper only once and for the wedding indicated above. The wedding was outside on a 90 degree day. The body shaper is thick and I was worried that I would roast to death, but I never felt uncomfortably warm. Bottom line: I bought the body shaper to help smooth my ribs under a tight dress and was successful.

I love the design and presentation of this so much. The corset style clasps definitely give you more control than a typical shapewear bodysuit. The only problem for me is that I have a long torso, so this hits at a spot on my hips that creates a little bulge (nothing crazy, still totally wearable). The size chart only gives a height/weight guideline for the size, no measurements, so its kind of hard to tell which size would fit best. I carry most of my weight from my hips down, with a smaller upper body, so while something might fit my waist well, it would probably be tight on my hips. As far as the sizing goes, I think that if you follow the size chart (i.e. DONT JUST ORDER YOUR NORMAL SIZE, LOOK AT THE MANUFACTURER SIZING) you will be fine. I feel like that should be a given with buying any clothing online tho.Honestly, this is a beautiful piece of shapewear. It could even double as lingerie if youre into that. But for God's sake, have some sense and find a Vedette size chart before you order, and be honest with yourself as far as your weight/measurements go when you order this type of thing. Size large in America usually equals 2-3 sizes larger when your buying items intended for another country.
