This external SSD is great! I love how compact it is and it has a great transfer speed for data. It's an excellent option for a quality, quick, compact SSD with a lot of storage space. The USB-C connection makes it the perfect choice for with everything changing over to USB-C. I got tired of having to use a dongle/dock with my MacBook Pro for my older externals so this has been a perfect fit for my workflow.

Hats off to LaCiie / Seagate for creating such a great storage device. I recently had one of the disks on a back up RAID go bad. Rather than replace that drive, and await the failure of the others, I opted to purchase this 3TB solid state wonder. It‘s a magnificent little bit of hardware. The only problem I foresee is telling them apart when I purchase more of these. I really despise the P-touch. Maybe I need some stickers.Hey, LaCie, why not include some cool stickers with the drive to help repeat customers tell them apart?That quibble aside, Five Stars!

So far it's 4 years and still working properly without issues.

Using this 1 terabyte SSD with our new Blackmagic switcher when recording worship services. It has excellent quality snd is very easy to plug snd play. It uses USB-C into the SSD and also includes a high speed (blue inside) USB cable.I recommend this SSD if you need extra storage capacity, and it also comes in additional capacities. Be sure to buy a storage/carrying case if you are going to be moving it around.

I use this to back up an iMac. Works like a charm! It's light, about the size of a square deck of cards, half the thickness. Counting on SSD tech to be way more reliable in the long run over a spinning hard drive. So far so good!

My last Lacie hard drive failed on me so I was deterred from buying from them for w while even though its most peoples preferred brand. However, when I saw they released an SSD version I new I had to get my hands on it. The information is so much safer! excited to try it out and hopefully this one lasts much longer.

This is amazing. I am a long time LaCie hard drive customer and I wanted an SSD to go with the MacBook that was packing a SSD as well. I wanted to use Carbon Copy Cloner for a bootable external Mac OS for the LaCie to work off the MacBook.It is a little bit bigger then a credit card, almost as light. It comes with two USB cables as the LaCie SSD has USB 3.1 already installed into it as a SCSI (Small Computer System Interface) ... so USB 3.0 .. when it goes to verson USB 3.2 .. and then up to USB 3.3 ... this La Cie is already built to handle the huge boost in data transfer.They also give you a 3.x cable end ... and a USB 2.0 end for the older computers you might want to plug into.As for Gaming ... and external HD ... whoops ... eternal SSD ... doubt there is better out there right now.

Very Fast. Bought this drive to backp my MacBook Pro. It is small, compact and very fast because it is an SSD drive. LaCie drives are my favorite. They are the featured drive for Macs at Apple retail stores.I love this oneSharon
