You Will Like It
Have had this seat for about a month now. I have no negatives so far, only positives:-- I really like the installation where the tightening mechanism breaks off at the right torque. This eliminates over or under tightening. The seat is snug and does not shift around.-- The seat lifts off completely and easily for cleaning.-- The seat has a molded shape that I find very comfortable. It is a bit thin so I can see how a larger bodied person could possible break it over time. I don't think a normal person should have any issues.-- I was skeptical that I would like the soft close feature, but I now really like nudging the top for closing without actually having to grab the seat/lid and bend over to close it. It's one of those things you never think about until you don't have to do it anymore!-- I guess anything that helps us guys close the lid to stop the complaining from our female family members has to be a good thing.I have given up on trying to buy soft seats that split open after a few months. Soft seats also have a molding line midway around the seat that catches a lot of gunk I don't want to think about. I am sold on these seats and I think i will replace all my soft seats with this one.UPDATE March 2015:------------------------------------I have now had the seat coming up on a year now and have some additional comments. I still like the seat very much, it still looks brand new, and it still functions well with some caveats. After about 9 months of use, the soft close feature on the seat (not the lid) slowly started to get worse over time. Eventually it would almost just drop down like a normal toilet seat, and then a small plastic part about 1 inch long and 1" in diameter popped out of the hinge and was lying on the rim of the toilet. I figured out that THIS was the piece which actually enables the soft close feature and it was working itself out over time (and the soft close feature was not working).Once I reinserted the part completely, the seat was working as brand new. Over the next 3 months it has worked itself out slightly, so I pushed it back in again recently. However I want to point out that it is almost impossible to do with just your fingers. I used a hand clamp to force the part back into position as shown in the photo. If you are not capable of getting the small prt back into the hinge then the seat will likely fail within the first year. Now that I know how to fix it I am not worried about losing the function anymore. I am still happy with this product, but a small fix-it will probably be required over time.

Good, economical choice for a toilet seat...glad I bought these.
Four stars because the mounting bolts were slightly less than six inches apart and didn't exactly match up with the holes on either of the toilets on which I installed them. It causes the seat to sit close to, but not quite perfectly straight on the bowl. I didn't point it out to any one and no one has mentioned it, so it's not too noticeable and doesn't affect the use or operation at all.I love the Whisper-close feature (or whatever it was called) that lowers the seat and lid slowly. No slamming down and waking anyone up or potentially causing harm if you have any little ones around your house. The entire seat and lid also pop off in one piece and without tools to clean completely around the mounts, but I could see that feature wearing out if it's used too much. The plastic gripper 'fingers' that grip the head of the mounting bolts could wear out and lose their initially strong holding power. So, I would recommend not making use of that feature any more than absolutely necessary, though it does work well out of the box.Lightweight without feeling cheap, solid plastic, easy installation, easy to clean, and plenty strong to support my 215 pounds without any issues. Nice, comfortable curve to the seat too, noticeably more comfortable and easier on the thighs and butt than the old, worn-out seats they replaced.Good purchase overall, glad I bought these, and they should serve their purpose well for years to come.

Not Easy Clean and doesn't STA-TITE
The product I received does not match the picture in the product description. I bought this for the Easy Clean and STA-TITE features I have enjoyed with a Bemis seat we have in another bathroom, but this one doesn’t live up to the expectations. The model number on the packaging match the product description on the Amazon page, but it is not the right seat.First, there are no Easy Clean hinges. The seat is stamped Easy Clean too. This one has fixed hinges so you cannot remove it to clean underneath. I should have stopped and returned it at this point, but thought I could live without the removable feature. The STA-TITE does not really stay tight. When you install the seat, the posts will snap off underneath when the appropriate tightness is achieved. You would think that this means the seat is as tight as the manufacturer intended. However, I found out a week later that if you shift your weight on the seat, it moves. I thought that because this was Bemis' retail line that the quality would be the same as with Bemis products, but I've found out this is not the case.

2 broken hinges within about 6 months
I ordered this seat. It was very easy to install and I loved that it was slow closing. Within a few weeks it began to slide around on the toilet, so i tightened the bolts. This process repeated itself several times until the hinge on the seat broke. I found the plastic hinge pin on the floor behind my toilet. The seat had a one year warranty and when I attempted to contact the manufacturer to see if I could simply have them send me a replacement hinge, I was directed to the seller. So I contacted Amazon and they sent me a new seat and told me there was no need to return the actual product.I installed that one and went though the exact same process. After a second one broke I called Amazon and they simply issued a refund but this time they wanted the seat back. I feel bad for that poor employee who had to process that return. I was at least nice enough to clean it up really good with bleach before returning it but of course the person on the other end didn't know that.I went through 2 of these in about 6 months or so. I purchased a similar one by a different manufacturer and it’s been going strong for over a year now.Pros:Easy to InstallEasy to cleanSoft closeCons:Hinges start coming apart almost immediately

Faulty Toilet Seat - Impossible to mount straight on the bowl
There is no way to mount the toilet seat straight. It sits to one side of the bowl. I followed the instructions to a T. After I realized it was not straight on the bowl, I tried everything to line it up properly with no success. I would like a new one sent to me before I return this one because I had to cut my original old one off and if I sent this faulty one back, I would be left without a toilet set until a replacement arrives in probably a month or two.

Item not as expected
Installation was relatively easy. However, the biggest flaw is it not as expected. The seat by it self is slow close, but not the same with the lid/cover.When the seat is down, closing the lid just drops - not slow close.Closing the seat with the lid does not slow close also.Do not buy!

Comodo 😅
Si es un poquito complicado instalarlo si no tienes las herramientas necesarias, pero una vez hecho es perfecto!!
